Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for ensuring MGB staff safety and comfort. Also responsible for leading the daily operations of mobile blood bank personnel and processes.
The driver will arrive at the MGH Somerville lot approximately 1.5 hours before the pickup time for staffing. They will drive the mobile unit to MGH and pick up staff at the scheduled time. They will bring staff to the designated blood drive location. At the end of the drive, they will return staff to MGH and then return the mobile unit to the lot in Somerville. The driver is responsible for maintenance of the mobile unit, such as diesel fill-up, cleaning the interior after every drive, and other basic maintenance as needed.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Commercial Driver's License [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Department of Transportation Registry of Motor Vehicles required
Massachusetts Class B Commercial Driver's License - Massachusetts Department of Transportation Registry of Motor Vehicles required
Experience
Commercial driving experience 2-3 years required
