BENEFITS & LICENSING COORDINATOR

Our speech pathology practice, with several locations throughout Long Island, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team. This position is based in Stony Brook and is an in-person position, 30+ hours per week.

The Benefits & Licensing Coordinator will primarily oversee employee benefits and professional licensing, while also assisting with general HR administrative responsibilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision
• Assisting employees with benefits questions, enrollment, changes, and qualifying life events
• Maintaining and tracking professional licenses, certifications, registrations, and renewal deadlines
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records and documentation
• Supporting the HR team with various projects and responsibilities as needed
• Managing multiple priorities with strong organization, time management, and follow-through

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience in HR, benefits administration, licensing/credentialing, or a related administrative role preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving abilities
• A professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Google Docs and Excel
