Working in the Product and Banking Relationships team and reporting to the Head of Banking Relationships, this is a key role within the business. The foundation of the role is to provide support in managing our financial institution partners. You will have a tangible impact on the growth and success of the firm.

What You’ll Do

• As a Banking Support Manager, you will provide support on all administrative matters related to establishing and running relationships with banks, non-bank FI’s (NBFI), payment schemes, liquidity providers (LP’s) and virtual asset service providers, whose services are used by Clear Junction. You will be responsible for:
• Acting as the day-to-day escalation point for internal teams when it comes to matters relating to running relationships with banks, NBFI’s, LP’s and crypto asset service providers. This includes providing support on operational, transactional and documentation matters, and liaising with the external partners to get them resolved. Completing application forms and KYC reviews for Clear Junction entities to open accounts and establish and maintain relationships with such partners
• Analysing data relating to transactional activity flowing through each partner, and providing insights to internal stakeholders 
• Supporting the Head of Banking in conducting service reviews with providers, and tracking their adherence to the agreed SLA’s 
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and maintaining project management trackers for integrations with new banking providers and payment rails.
• Work closely with other departments to track issues with providers and get them resolved in a timely manner. 

Requirements

• Understanding of payments and correspondent banking infrastructure.
• Experience in completing EDD with bank and non-bank payment service providers, both at the time of establishing a new relationship as well as for periodic AML reviews. Ideally, you would have gained this experience either through working in a banking function or 1st line of defence
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to condense payments activity data into actionable insights 
• Good knowledge of relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to work with cross-functional teams internally and externally will be a key success factor
• Understanding of domestic and cross-border payment systems (SEPA, FPS, CHAPS, SWIFT, ACH and other local market RTP schemes). Knowledge and experience in the digital asset space will be an added bonus.
• Great project management skills and attention to detail.
