The salary for this role is £50,000 - £55,000

As an Azure Integration Engineer, you’ll help keep our cloud platforms secure, reliable and performing at their best. You’ll work across live Azure environments, troubleshooting issues, monitoring performance and working closely with development teams to continually improve our CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes.

You’ll manage and support Azure AD B2C identity flows and API Management (APIM), helping to deliver secure and seamless integrations across our services. You’ll also contribute to security and quality activities using tools such as Defender for Cloud, SonarCloud and ZAP, respond to technical support requests, and support the preparation and delivery of upcoming releases and projects.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

• Providing timely and effective break-fix support, resolving system issues and minimising downtime in line with agreed Service Level Agreements, including out-of-hours support where required.
• Monitoring the performance, availability and capacity of our Azure services, identifying opportunities to optimise infrastructure and code to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Providing 3rd line support for Azure customer identity and integration services, resolving escalated issues and working with internal teams to maintain service availability.
• Implementing and maintaining real-time monitoring and proactive alerting across applications and supporting infrastructure.
• Supporting effective incident response, helping to identify, investigate and resolve issues while highlighting potential risks to service availability.
• Carrying out vulnerability assessments and supporting patching, system hardening and the implementation of appropriate security controls.
• Working in line with our Information Security Policies, Azure Security Benchmark and CIS controls.
• Providing technical guidance to development teams, helping to ensure applications and services are secure, robust and maintainable.
• Collaborating with colleagues on new projects, releases and service enhancements to ensure customer identity and integration requirements are understood and delivered effectively.

You may be required to undertake other duties assigned by your line manager as appropriate

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following

• Experience providing high-quality break-fix support in a fast-paced environment and maintaining complex cloud-based systems to ensure availability and performance.
• Strong experience managing Azure subscriptions, resources and applications.
• Extensive experience with Azure AD B2C, including customer identity management, user and group administration, custom attributes, user flows and UX/UI customisation.
• Knowledge of OpenID, OAuth 2.0 and SAML 2.0, alongside experience using Microsoft Graph API and MSAL for identity management.
• Experience creating complex and customised Azure AD B2C user flows and custom policies, including claims providers, technical profiles and the Identity Experience Framework.
• Strong understanding of SSL certificates, identity security and cloud security best practice.
• Experience managing Azure API Management (APIM), including securing APIs and supporting cloud-to-cloud integrations.
• Hands-on development experience using C#, Azure Functions and Web Apps.
• Experience using Azure Blob Storage, Application Insights and monitoring tools to support reliable cloud services.
• Strong experience building and automating CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, supporting efficient delivery from development through to production.
• Hands-on experience integrating and maintaining SonarCloud and Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP) within CI/CD pipelines to support code quality and security scanning.
  

Reporting structure 

This role will report to the Azure Engineering Manager and will sit within our Service department.

We’re a fully remote organisation however, our roles are UK-based and can only be performed within the UK.
