Job Description

Job Summary**

Responsible for providing comprehensive mortgage solutions and exceptional customer service to clients, facilitating the entire loan application process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities**

* Advise clients on suitable mortgage products, including home loans, refinancing, and other property-related financing options, based on their financial needs and eligibility.
* Guide clients through the mortgage application process, including documentation submission, credit assessment, and property valuation.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis of applicants to assess their repayment capacity and risk profile.
* Prepare and present loan proposals to clients, clearly explaining terms, conditions, and repayment schedules.
* Liaise with internal departments (e.g., credit, legal, operations) and external parties (e.g., valuers, lawyers) to ensure smooth processing and timely approval of mortgage applications.
* Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes affecting the mortgage industry.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities through various channels.
* Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and relevant banking laws and regulations.
* Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team's objectives.
* Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire mortgage journey, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mortgage sales or a similar financial services role, preferably within a banking environment.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
* In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending criteria, and relevant regulatory frameworks in Malaysia.
* Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit assessment principles, and property market dynamics.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Possession of relevant professional certifications (e.g., PCE, CUTE) is an advantage.
* Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
