Job Description

• Lead end-to-end Compliance system enhancement projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.

• Drive the change management process to enhance Compliance system capabilities, meet regulatory and risk management objectives, and improve operational effectiveness.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating complex business needs into clear and actionable specifications.

• Prepare comprehensive UAT test strategies, test cases and test scripts, and coordinate and execute end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Execute system threshold tuning, scenario calibration, statistical analysis and alert optimization, with the ability to translate analytical findings into risk-based recommendations and business outcomes.

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Compliance systems in managing regulatory requests and audit-related matters.

• Partner with counterparts from Compliance, Technology, Business, Operations, and external vendors to provide system-related advisory support, optimize risk management effectiveness, and address the Bank's regulatory and operational requirements.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in AFC systems, Compliance Technology, Financial Crime Compliance, or Banking Technology.

• Proven experience in the implementation, enhancement, User Acceptance Test (UAT), release management, defect management and production support of AFC and Compliance systems..

• Sound understanding of Compliance systems, including Transaction Monitoring, Payment Screening, Name Screening and Customer Due Diligence solutions.

• Good knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.

• Proven track record in project management, with the ability to multi-task and deliver within tight timelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and issue resolution.

• Strong people skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.

• Self-motivated and able to take a structured, end-to-end approach in managing projects and system initiatives.

• Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL, QlikSense), as well as big data analytics frameworks such as Python, Spark, Hive, Impala and Hadoop, is advantageous.

• Holder of ECF on AML/CFT accredited by HKIB is preferred.
