As an Audit & Assurance - Products & Services - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, learn how to manage and inspire others, and navigate increasingly complex situations. You will grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills, while anticipating the needs of your teams and clients to deliver quality work.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Assurance practice, focusing on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. You will issue an auditor's report that includes the auditor's opinion. This position offers the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, while using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, contributing to the firm's overall business strategies.

Responsibilities

- Conducting financial statement audits to evaluate compliance with regulations and assess governance and risk management processes
- Analyzing complex financial data to identify potential misstatements and provide insights for accurate reporting
- Collaborating with clients to build meaningful relationships and understand their business needs
- Applying auditing methodologies and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to enhance the credibility of financial information
- Utilizing data analysis and interpretation skills to inform insights and recommendations
- Reviewing and verifying financial documents to confirm accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster professional growth and development
- Navigating complex situations and embracing ambiguity to deliver quality work
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Chartered Accountant
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
