Associate, EVS Training & Experience
Event Visitor Services is the functional area, within the Organizing Committee for the LA28 Games (Olympics and Paralympics), that is in charge of planning, designing and providing a safe and welcoming visit to all ticketed events at the official competition venues and other services to accredited stakeholders.
The Event Visitor Services (EVS) Associate, Training & Experience is a productive and organized professional responsible for coordinating and administering the training program for Event Service paid staff and volunteers for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games ensuring a memorable experience for all, in addition to supporting operational staff with additional Games-Time logistics.
This role is integral to guarantee the smooth delivery of the Event Services workforce and will oversee the logistical planning, delivery and reporting for training sessions. The Training & Experience Associate is a key member of the EVS and Central Management Teams for venue support and ensuring staff readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the training project plan under the guidance of the EVS Sr. Manager, Workforce & Experience
- Work with the Event Venue Services Management Team to create training materials
- Coordinate training schedule, equipment and room logistics
- Coordinate training invitations, acceptance and attendance tracking process
- Coordinate training information and content for printing and publication
- Ensure quality services and equipment for training delivery
- Coordinate usage of resources
- Present training material to large audiences
- Support EVS Venue teams with Event and Workforce Operations on venue
- Support Workforce Sr. Manager with the delivery of EVS documentations and spectator experience needs.
- Other duties as assigned
Background and Requirements
- Proven experience (2+ years) working in events, customer service and/or training organizations
- Experience in creating and implementing engaging and compelling training material for large cohorts
- Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit
- Builds credibility, respect, and trust with others through depth of understanding and knowledge
- Provides creative and innovative solutions
- Excellent English skills, including writing, communication, and presentation
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
- The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
- The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
- Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve

The annual base salary range for this position is $30.29-$35.00/hour. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
