As an Associate in Deals – Data Science at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will engage in client support activities, leveraging your analytical skills to contribute to data-driven projects within our Deals practice. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on AI & Technology Diligence & Value Creation, where your role will involve analyzing complex data sets to generate insights that drive strategic decision-making.

As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients, learning how to build meaningful connections and manage projects effectively. This role emphasizes adaptability and reliability, encouraging you to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and to deepen your understanding of the business context.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing complex data sets to support client engagements and deliver actionable insights
- Developing predictive models using machine learning techniques to enhance decision-making processes
- Implementing data visualization strategies to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business operations
- Utilizing Python programming to automate data processing and analysis tasks
- Supporting AI and technology diligence initiatives to drive value creation for clients
- Engaging in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest data science methodologies and tools
- Contributing to the development of innovative solutions that address client challenges in the deals sector

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance
- At least one of the following: A Certification in databases (Databricks, MS SQL), visualization tools (Power BI), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or predictive modeling/ML (Python, SAS)
- Developing skills in data science and machine learning
- Utilizing Python for predictive modeling and data analysis
- Engaging in data visualization techniques to enhance client presentations
- Participating in AI and technology diligence projects
- Contributing to value creation initiatives through analytical insights
