Job Summary:

The Department of Risk and Insurance at the Wisconsin School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning in Fall 2027. Our faculty also teach and play important roles in the Wisconsin School of Business analytics programs, including the Master of Science in Business Analytics, the online Master of Science in Data, Insights, and Analytics, and the school’s Full-Time and Professional MBA programs.

The department is part of a major research university with extensive resources available to faculty and students. While our faculty are united by interests related to risk and insurance, they come from a range of disciplinary backgrounds and maintain strong connections and collaborations across campus, including with faculty in economics, engineering, public policy, population health, computing & AI, and statistics.
