Job Purpose

·       The purpose of this role is to drive business growth in the West Region by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities, with a strong focus on the Datacentre and Electronics segments. The role will build strategic relationships with OEMs, Tier customers, consultants, EPCs, and ecosystem partners, while strengthening market presence and delivering profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

·       Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic accounts across the West Region, especially Mumbai, Pune, and Gujarat, to identify growth opportunities.

·       Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of prospective customers and partners.

·       Use SFDC, LinkedIn, and market intelligence tools for lead generation, account mapping, RFQ generation, and conversion.

·       Drive the end-to-end business development cycle from prospecting to closure.

Datacentre Segment Focus

·       Develop and execute a focused go-to-market plan for the Datacentre segment in West India.

·       Engage Datacentre developers, colocation players, EPCs, consultants, MEP stakeholders, and system integrators.

Electronics Segment Focus

·       Expand business with Electronics OEMs, EMS players, and Tier customers through structured account development.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·       Annual Sales Target: INR 10 Crore

·       New Business Addition Target: INR 10 Crore

·       Year-on-year growth across assigned verticals.

·       Pipeline coverage of at least 3x the annual target

·       Number of new active accounts added

·       CRM hygiene and reporting compliance through SFDC

Educational Qualification

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Industrial)

·       MBA preferred

Experience Required

·       6–8 years of relevant experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, or Project / Solution Sales

·       Strong exposure to Datacentre, Electronics, OEM / Tier business, or adjacent industrial sectors

·       Experience in the West India market, especially Mumbai, Pune, and Gujarat

Skills & Competencies

·       Strong market mapping and hunting capability

·       Proven ability in lead generation, funnel creation, and conversion

·       Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management

·       Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

·       Proficiency in SFDC, LinkedIn, and digital prospecting tools

·       Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively in the region
