What this job involves:
As a business partner to Operations Lead, you will provide strategic finance support by delivering insightful financial analysis and operational improvement.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Business Partnering
- Be the trusted financial advisor to the Operations Lead, providing data-driven insights to support decision making
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including operation teams, shared service centres and third party service providers
- Identify financial risks and opportunities through analysis of performance indicators
Financial Management & Control
- Collaborate with site teams and SSC to ensure the lifecycle of vendors’ PO processing align with JLL policues
- Manage vendor payments and monthly billing in compliance with JLL policies and guidelines
- Monitor accounts receivables to optimise cash flow
- Ensure robust documentation that meet audit requirements and maintain integrity of all financial transactions through effective processes
Month End Closing
- Lead the month-end closing process (expense/revenue accrual etc) for the business line, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Investigate and resolve unusual variances or accounting issues
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, local reporting standards and client contractual requirements
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Maintain comprehensive account-level tracker containing key P&L metrics (revenue, costs, management fee etc) and business status and ensure timely update with proper supporting documentation
- Prepare and present month end financial packages with meaningful variance analysis for internal stakeholders
- Partner with the Operations Lead to develop comprehensive annual budget and rolling forecasts
- Adhoc scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis
Process Remediation & Standardisation
- Resolve existing financial process gaps and operational issues within the Singapore business line
- Establish robust framework for documentation and financial governance
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree or professional qualification in accounting, finance or relevant field (ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
- Minimum 4-5 years of financial experience
- Experienced in navigating complex matrix environments
- Business partnering and commercial finance experience is added advantage
