Assembly/Production Worker – Full Time

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Compensation: $17.13 - $17.13 p/hour

Tessera is seeking a Motivated and Hard Working Assembly/Production Worker with a positive/helpful attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, strip, terminate, and prepare wire assemblies to precise production requirements.
• Install connectors, ferrules, ring terminals, plugs, and other electrical components using hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Route, bundle, label, tape, and organize wiring and cable assemblies to ensure quality, functionality, and professional appearance.
• Assemble and bond components using adhesives, including installing windows into shower tubes and similar products.
• Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identify and report quality concerns, damaged materials, equipment malfunctions, or production issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Receive, move, stage, and transport raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Build, stack, wrap, and prepare pallets for storage, shipment, and transportation.
• Organize, stock, count, and maintain inventory in production and warehouse locations.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, labeling, and order preparation activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate material flow and ensure components are available to support production schedules.
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality requirements, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals, deadlines, and customer expectations.
• Crosstrain in multiple production functions and provide support in other departments as business needs require.
• All Other Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications: 

• Previous assembly, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Candidates must be able to follow written work instructions and use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• The ability to learn and operate a forklift in accordance with company safety requirements is required.
• Candidates must be able to lift and move materials, maintain quality standards, and work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis. 

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
• Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
• Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

• A valid state driver’s license is preferred with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
