Join Aprio’s Specialty team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Specialty tax Administrator to join their dynamic team.
Position Responsibilities:
Receive and track tax notices received by clients
Work with clients and Tax Department personnel to gather data
Use CCH Workflow to track due dates and ensure timely responses
Assist Tax Controversy and Employment Tax team to prepare and submit responses and other documentation to tax authorities
Proofread and deliver correspondence to clients
Handle phone calls and emails, responding to or redirecting inquiries as necessary
Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
preparation of workpapers
filing of sales tax returns
Qualifications:
Preferred Associates/Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other related courses.
Minimum of five (2) years related experience in a support role, preferably CPA or law firm
Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel is essential.
Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced and time sensitive office environment
Aptitude for working with a diverse group of important external clients as well as internal associates at all levels of the organization
Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary
Organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
Ability to work independently
Proofreads for spelling, grammar and formatting, making appropriate changes.
Ability to learn quickly and become proficient with Aprio’s applications
Able to work overtime hours as needed
Self-motivated professional with proven independent judgment and decision making
Amenable to work night shift starting from 8PM-5AM PHT
Work Setup: Hybrid – Initial 2 months onsite, followed by a hybrid schedule of 2 days onsite and 3 days work-from-home per week. Work location is either at our Clark or Makati site.
