Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of essential applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the technology environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Strong knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Experience with database management and backup/recovery procedures related to SAP systems.
- Familiarity with transport management and system upgrades in SAP landscapes.
- Ability to analyze system logs and diagnose issues affecting application performance.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
