Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, while continuously monitoring and analyzing system behavior to prevent potential disruptions. The position demands adaptability and a keen eye for detail to support complex environments effectively and maintain business continuity.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to streamline processes and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Experience in managing system landscapes, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP environments.
- Strong knowledge of system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with database administration and backup/recovery procedures related to SAP systems.
- Ability to work with operating systems and middleware components that support SAP applications.
- Skilled in monitoring tools and automation techniques to enhance system availability and efficiency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
