Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and delivering timely resolutions to ensure smooth system operations. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and collaboration with different teams to maintain the reliability and efficiency of essential business applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications.
- Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HANA DB Administration.
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization specific to SAP HANA environments.
- Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for SAP HANA databases.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot database issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and user access management within SAP HANA.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP HANA DB Administration.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
