Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
The Application Administrator will work with the Senior Manager, Identity & Applications in the administration, configuration, integration, and ongoing support of enterprise collaboration platforms and enterprise applications that enable employees to work securely and efficiently. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and ISDI teams to translate requirements into scalable application solutions, improve workflows, maintain strong access governance, and deliver a reliable user experience across the application portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Identity & Applications, this role requires a hands-on, customer-focused administrator who can balance day-to-day operational support with platform improvements, automation, documentation, and lifecycle management in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Key responsibilities include:
Enterprise Application Administration & Support

Administer, configure, and support enterprise applications to ensure optimal performance, availability, security, and user experience.

Manage application lifecycle activities, including implementation, upgrades, patching, testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, release coordination, and vendor support.

Serve as an escalation point for complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues through resolution while communicating status to stakeholders.

Monitor application health, usage, licensing, and service performance; recommend improvements that increase reliability, adoption, and value.

Maintain application roadmaps, support models, system inventories, ownership records, and lifecycle documentation.
Collaboration Platforms & Digital Workplace
-
Administer collaboration, content management, and file-sharing platforms such as Egnyte, SharePoint, Teams OneDrive, Atlassian Confluence & Jira, and Simpplr.

Apply and enforce RevMed security policies for permission management, content administration, information architecture, retention, governance, and external collaboration.

Manage and enhance enterprise intranet portals, including page design, navigation, publishing workflows, audience targeting, and content owner support.

Train and advise end users and content owners on collaboration tools, functionality, governance standards, and best practices.
Identity, Access & Application Security

Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access controls (RBAC), privileged access, and periodic access reviews across enterprise applications.

Implement and support Single Sign-On (SSO), SCIM provisioning, Conditional Access policies, directory synchronization, and identity integrations using Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory, LDAP, and related services.

Partner with Information Security and application owners to enforce least-privilege access, segregation of duties, secure configuration standards, and audit readiness.

Support monitoring, auditing, compliance, and security controls for enterprise applications, including systems subject to SOX and GxP requirements.
Integrations, Automation & Process Improvement

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between enterprise systems using REST APIs, PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Power Platform, automation tools, and middleware platforms.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks, access workflows, notifications, reporting, and data synchronization.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, optimize workflows, and implement well-governed application enhancements.

Evaluate new application capabilities and vendor offerings, coordinate testing and deployment, and measure adoption and operational outcomes.
Service Management, Documentation & Vendor Coordination

Work within IT service management processes for incidents, requests, problems, changes, assets, and knowledge, leveraging ServiceNow capabilities including ITAM, ITOM, HAM, and SAM.

Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures, configuration records, knowledge articles, support runbooks, and system architecture diagrams.

Coordinate with software vendors and managed service providers on support cases, renewals, roadmap planning, licensing, and service improvements.

Participate in application projects, change control, validation activities, and cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:

5+ years of experience administering and supporting enterprise SaaS, collaboration, or business applications in a medium-to-large enterprise environment.

In-depth knowledge of collaboration platforms and best practices for permission management, governance, and content administration in applications such as Egnyte, Teams and OneDrive, and the Atlassian suite of applications.

Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts, including Active Directory, LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, directory synchronization, SSO, SCIM provisioning, Conditional Access, and RBAC.

Hands-on experience administering enterprise SaaS applications, including user access management, application configuration, troubleshooting, integrations, upgrades, and vendor engagement.

Experience with IT service management processes; familiarity with ITAM, ITOM, HAM, and SAM capabilities.

Experience administering business productivity platforms such as Egnyte, DocuSign, Jira, Microsoft OO365, and Smartsheet.

Demonstrated ability to create clear technical documentation, operational procedures, knowledge articles, and architecture diagrams.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, customer service, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills:

Experience managing and developing enterprise intranet portals across platforms such as Atlassian Confluence, Simpplr, and SharePoint.

Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or comparable tools.

Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITAM.

Experience with dynamic group management in Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

Salesforce administration and development experience.

Experience working in the life sciences industry, GxP-regulated environments, and supporting validated systems.

Familiarity with SOX controls, audit evidence, computer system validation, and application security best practices.

ITIL certification or experience working within ITIL-based service management frameworks.

Experience with application portfolio management, SaaS license optimization, and vendor or contract coordination.
