Job Summary:

The Annual Site Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling annual and seasonal sites, meeting sales targets, and acting as a Goodwill Ambassador to all potential customers to communicate the benefits of staying in the park. This role provides education to potential customers, and builds awareness of the various products available. It is an especially appealing opportunity for full or part-time RVers, as a site is provided for the Annual Site Sales Specialist at designated parks. This is a full time position and does require moving between parks seasonally.

Essential Job Duties:

• To implement annual awareness at the campground through welcome calls/emails, camp-ins, educational workshops, events, marketing materials, and other promotional methods.

• Identify prospects for annuals/seasonals and move through sales cycle by following steps of sales process.

• Understand and provide expert information on all currently sold long term stay products.

• Respond in a timely manner to all inbound web, phone and walk-in customer inquiries.

• Maintain consistent, informative communication with the operations team at home park and remote park(s) as assigned.

• Follow the company standard sales process:

  • Utilize SalesForce reservation dashboards to identify incoming guests for potential annuals. Contact incoming guests via phone and email to welcome to park and introduce self as Annual Sales Specialist.

  • Work with park staff to handout annual materials at check-in.

  • Attend park events and Manager meetings.

  • Set appointments for annual presentations.

  • Give effective sales presentations to interested guests.

  • Curate Hot List and Prospect list in SalesForce for follow up.

  • Obtain Customer Referrals and maintain referral business.

• The Annual Sales Specialist works in coordination with the park operations team completing the annual customer application and lease process for new customers.

  • Understands and is knowledgeable of current annual promotions.

  • Is thorough and complete with application and lese process.

  • Adheres to contract policies.

• The Annual Sales Specialist is responsible for sales reporting to their Regional Annual Sales Manager.

  • Attends weekly Annual Team Strategy conference call and weekly Membership Information conference call.

  • Participates in incentive programs.

• Participate in regional RV Shows when possible, to generate additional incremental business.

• Lead Ambassador program at the park through frequent communication with team via staff meetings, monthly newsletters and an always up-to-date Ambassador Board. Offer encouragement and recognition for leads.

• The Annual Sales Specialist with the Operations Manager is responsible for the inventory of all flyers and the proper signage at the resort.

• Work week is Thursday through Monday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM unless otherwise approved by Regional Annual Sales Manager. Annual Sales Specialist is responsible for clocking in and out during hours worked in Workday.

Experience & skills you need:

• Sales experience is strongly recommended.

• Basic computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Word programs, Office 365, Email, and cloud-based software sales programs.

• Professional behavior and appearance.

• Excellent communicator via phone, email, and in person. Customer oriented hospitality skills.

• Highly organized and detail oriented.

• Excellent prospecting and business development skills. Able to present benefits of products and close the sale.

• Thrives in results-oriented sales environment.

• Team oriented attitude.

• Self-motivated and able to manage several different tasks at a time.

Work Environment:

While primarily in an indoor office environment, the Membership Specialist is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions such as wet and/or humid conditions, or extreme cold and/or heat.
