Opening for an anesthesiologist to join nationally recognized Christiana Care Union Hospital. Earning national accolades for clinical excellence, Christiana Care, Union Hospital is a nonprofit community hospital based in Elkton, MD. Licensed for 75 beds, this innovative facility combines the latest technology and a supportive atmosphere to offer advanced, effective care for treating and preventing disease. Building on its 110-year history of service, the full-service hospital is committed to providing the people of Cecil County, MD, and neighboring communities in southern Pennsylvania and Delaware with high-quality, personalized healthcare. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Total Rewards
Salary: $500K annually
Sign-on Incentive: $50K

Case Assignments & Schedule
• Schedule: Daily with call (3 calls with post call day off). Team Leadership Michael Brywka, Chief MD
• General surgery, urology, and endo

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
