You will join the Talent team, responsible for how CIP attracts, develops and engages the people who drive our long-term success. The team combines people expertise, analytics, technology, and emerging AI capabilities to support strategic talent decisions and enable a high-performing organisation. The team's work spans talent attraction, onboarding, leadership and employee development, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and people analytics, ensuring CIP has the talent and capabilities needed to support its continued growth
Role
As a Talent Analytics & AI Analyst in the Talent team, you will support data-driven decision-making across the Talent Area by developing analytical insights, reporting solutions, and decision materials for senior stakeholders. Working closely with colleagues across Talent and the broader business, you will contribute to strategic initiatives spanning people analytics, AI-enabled ways of working, technology, and organisational effectiveness.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact business challenges at the intersection of people, data, and technology, making it an ideal environment for someone who thrives in analytical, fast-paced settings and is eager to contribute to talent decision-making in a global organisation. This is an excellent stepping stone toward future roles in people analytics, Talent strategy, or broader business analytics.
The position is approximately 20-25 hours per week alongside your studies, with full flexibility around exam periods.
Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
- Break down complex business and people-related challenges using structured problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and data-driven thinking to generate insights and recommendations.
- Develop and evolve reporting solutions, dashboards, and data products across Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, leveraging AI-enabled approaches to enhance transparency, improve data quality, and enable better business decisions
- Apply AI, automation, and workflow technologies to streamline recurring reporting tasks, enhance insight generation, and improve turnaround time on people data requests.
- Contribute to strategic People & Culture initiatives through research, benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, and project implementation support.
You
We are looking for a highly analytical and intellectually curious student with top academic credentials, proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills, a keen interest in the People space and people analytics, and a history of delivering high-quality work.
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Psychology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Previous experience from consulting, finance, analytics, research, student organisations, or similar analytical environments is beneficial.

Proficient Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation and a keen interest in analytics, AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Good communication skills, with the ability to translate analyses and insights into clear, concise, and compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
- High Work Ethic & Ownership
Demonstrates ownership, intellectual curiosity, and consistent academic excellence and high-quality work while balancing multiple priorities.
Academic performance will be considered as an indicator of discipline, learning agility, and work ethic.
