The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity exists for an individual that brings intellectual curiosity and drive to join Dexus’ Alternative Investments team as an Analyst or Senior Analyst (experience dependent).
As an Analyst / Senior Analyst, Alternative Investments you will experience the full investment lifecycle for assets within Alternative Investments portfolio supporting origination, structuring and executing or acquisitions and divestments, and the strategy, operation and performance of the assets under management to maximise asset value and investment returns. This role includes assets and capital strategies across various classes, such as living, healthcare, and data centres.
You will make an impact by:
- Undertaking financial analysis, valuation, cash-flow modelling, and development feasibilities, ensuring accurate forecasts and market assumptions to support acquisitions, divestments and investment management decisions.
- Transitioning acquired assets into the portfolio and assess strategies to maximize returns across the hold period, through to divestment.
- Contributing to the preparation of annual Investment Management business plans for each asset and manage budgets
- Assisting with the preparation of Investment Committee reports and investor presentations
About You
The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years’ experience in a real estate, investment banking, management consulting, finance or similar role with a strong analytical focus. Alongside your exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic, you will showcase high level of analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills. Prior financial modelling skillset is highly advantageous as well as experience in debt and equity analytics.
