Job Description:

Pursuit Engagement activities

• Collaborates with Solution Consultant, Bid Manager/Pursuit Engagement Manager, and Proposal Strategist/Writer to design the digital strategy and apply client design principles
• Helps bring to life agreed digital strategy deliverables during pursuit life-cycle
• Works as an integral part of the pursuit team to ensure all client-facing deliverables make the highest visual impact
• Redesigns DXC content provided to them for improvement. Works with Proposal Managers, Bid Manager/Pursuit Engagement Manager, and Solution team for DXC presentations and other client-facing deliverables using appropriate computer software that fits with intended delivery medium
• Interprets written information and recognises opportunities to explain visually
• Supports document authors by preparing custom high-end graphics
• Recommends alternative designs and provides advice and guidance to drive improvements in current graphics
• Creates new and original cover designs and infographics based on brand image, solution, and client design principles.
• Ensures graphic output is easy to interpret and compliant with required proposal deliverables
• Reuses available imagery and proposal skins aligned to pursuit
• Assists with proposal formatting and production

Non-Pursuit activities

• Understands graphic file types and their appropriate uses. Applies graphic design principles and techniques to composition, hierarchy, typography, and colour usage
• Understands the DXC brand and how to make deliverables brand compliant
• Develops a visual story telling mechanism using high impact infographics and images that contribute towards producing a winning proposal
• Has broad and deep expertise in appropriate design tools. Has a vision for the overall deliverable and how the visual and textual components will fit together, in hard and electronic copies.
• Consults with Brand SMEs to translate ideas and interpret complex information into clear and compelling visual stories that sell DXC.
• Assists in improving graphic design processes and techniques for key deliverables, for example, Proposal and Orals presentations
• Validates information structural designs by applying industry trends and standards
• Uses high-end information design techniques to produce innovative graphics and narrative with powerful messages, easy visual scanning, and intuitive and consistent layout.
• In charge of DXC’s identity and the overall visual appearance of all bid deliverables.
• Responsible for how effectively graphics translate into print, interactive or multimedia presentations.
• Has multimedia application skills including video, motion graphics, illustration and/or web
• Continuously explores new industry tools and techniques and their potential application inside DXC
• Keeps DXC at the forefront of client communications. Suggests and leads improvements to current graphics design processes, techniques, hardware, and software tools and offers strategies on deployment, execution, and implementation
• Creates and maintains creative proposal and orals assets
