We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Manager, responsible for the maintenance, scheduling, and monitoring of maintenance activities on the assigned aircraft, and for supervising the performance of maintenance by company or vendor personnel.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain current files regarding Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Aircraft Service Changes.
- Maintain current technical data, manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins, and related FAA materials.
- Serve as the primary trainer for all personnel with regard to RII training, Airworthiness release, and maintenance documentation required to maintain the airworthiness of all Company aircraft.
- Complete initial and recurrent training on the aircraft type(s) operated by the Company, and train others on aircraft familiarization, servicing, and maintenance support documentation. This training will be recorded on an annual basis, documented, and kept in the employee records.
- Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance regarding Company maintenance policies and procedures.
- Provide the Director of maintenance with current aircraft due lists.
- Maintain the local tool calibration and shelf life programs.
- Supply data to the department to be input into the CASS Program.
- Ensure that all work packages are complete and that copies are sent to the office by mail or electronically (fax, E-mail, drop box) as required for review and confirm conformation of receipt of the work package.
- Review all incoming paperwork (log entries, work cards, Form 8130s, and Form 337s) and ensure correct completion. To update all aircraft tracking programs.
- Participate in the Company Safety Management System (SMS) Program.
- Ensure that all vendors have completed and returned the Facility/Vendor/audit for follow up and record keeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Gulfstream experience required; G500 or above strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in corporate/private aviation maintenance leadership is a plus.
- Based at KSJC (San Jose, CA); open to local candidates or candidates willing to commute/travel to base.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be accessible by phone or email 24/7 except when on scheduled time off.
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
- Work hours can extend beyond normal office hours.
- Domestic and international travel may be required.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 40lbs from floor to shoulder level.
- Physical ability to perform all required job functions must not be hindered.
- Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision.
