Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Become an Assembler! We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Physician RCM Services division. This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Vice President of Billing Operations. This role is on-site in our Ashland, VA office.
What You Will Do
- Provide administrative and accounting support for the New Bedford team and assigned clients.
- Perform bookkeeping services including accounts payable, deposit preparation and entry, bank reconciliations, expense reports, and financial statement preparation.
- Own mail and fax distribution, appointment scheduling, electronic file organization and supply ordering.
- Answer phone calls as needed and act as a point person for office system knowledge and procedures. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ownership of additional tasks and projects as needed and assigned.
What it Takes to Join the Team
- Experience in bookkeeping preferred.
- Manage critical deadlines and keen attention to detail.
- Superior planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be resourceful, persistent and possess excellent problem resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.

Compensation for this role is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. The expected salary range for this position reflects these considerations and may vary accordingly. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may have the opportunity to participate in company bonus programs.
