Your part in our UnitingCare team
We are seeking a site-based Administration Officer to provide administrative, financial, operational and reception support to our HOPES and Pathways to Grow programs in Southport.
Reporting to the Service Leader, you’ll support service delivery, manage priorities independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate diaries, appointments, travel, meetings, workshops and site activities.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, minutes, presentations and other documents.
- Process accounts, reconciliations, procurement cards, supplies and routine financial records.
- Maintain databases, registers, statistics and records.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and service providers on facilities, fleet, technology, travel and safety requirements.
- Manage reception and routine enquiries, and support efficient, compliant processes.
What makes a difference for us?
- Certificate IV in Business Administration, Event Management or a related qualification.
- At least two years’ administration experience supporting management.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and confidence using business systems and databases.
- Experience with reconciliations, purchasing and accounts processing.
- Strong organisation, communication, attention to detail and stakeholder skills.
- Sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Queensland Driver License
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or eligibility to obtain one before commencement.
- Experience supporting vulnerable children and families, with knowledge of the Child Safety system would be highly regarded.
