As part of the Financial Reporting and Management Team, EEV Reporting is responsible for the management reporting on KPIs and analysis on various financial initiatives, so as to support local and regional managements for business planning, investor relationship management and external disclosure.Job Descriptions:
Financial Reporting: Managing the team to timely delivery financial results for EV reporting. Managing analysis and documentations on regular reporting and various methodology review.
Business Plan & Forecasting: Leading junior member to perform forecast of various financial KPIs, facilitating business planning by senior management. Identifying any risks and opportunities, and driving initiatives to improve & outperform the targets.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with other local and regional teams to elaborate the financial results and direct the messages for external disclose (e.g. investors, auditors and regulators).
Cross Function Support: Collaborate with other internal parties and provide technical support for different initiatives and business operations, e.g. provide advice for new product and campaign valuation, assist channel compensation review, etc.
Team Management: Supervise junior members within the team and provide ongoing coaching on technical knowledges and soft skills. Guiding members for teamwork and process improvement.
Job requirements:
• Graduates from Actuarial Science, Mathematics and/or Investment related background is preferred.
• Good progress in Actuarial Examinations is necessary and fellowship qualification is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years relevant working experience in Actuarial.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and presentation skills, both written and spoken
• Able to work a fast-paced business environment and perform multiple tasks when needed
• Good knowledge in embedded value valuation, insurance accounting and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge in Prophet and/or stochastic modelling is preferred
