Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and mentors office staff. Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and daily management of direct reports. Evaluates performance of direct reports, conducts regular check-ins, and provides coaching and corrective action. Subject matter expert in records management.
• Manages scheduling and workload distribution of employees on temporary light duty assignments.
• Responsible for management of certifications and accreditations, including but not limited to: CAAS, the DOT annual report, the State EMS Fund Act grant submission, MIH and communications center EMS bureau renewals, and pharmacy licensing.
• Organizes and submits the annual community report in collaboration with Presbyterian Marketing.
• Organizes and participates in PR events for both public relations and recruiting efforts. Participates in new hire interviews and communicates with Presbyterian recruiters.
• Coordinates social media presence and activities.
• Tracks and creates job requisitions for Albuquerque Ambulance departments.
• Coordinates and tracks new hire onboarding processes. Participates in orientation processes and creates applicable new hire profiles in AAS IT systems.
• Assists with new hire field orientation scheduling.
• Participates in the monthly headcount process to predict recruiting needs and new employee academies.
• Assists with employee leave tracking and personnel actions.
• Responsible for assigning QI incident investigations to the appropriate department. Tracks the status of QI incidents and follows up to ensure timely completion.
• Interfaces with the public for complaint management intake, assigns appropriate resources for investigation if needed, and provides follow-up.
• Assists with data reporting and updates appropriate metrics and scorecards.
• Responsible for AAS Board of Director meeting minutes and other documents pertaining to Board activities.
• Responsible for coordinating meetings and availability of senior leaders.
• Reports to the Chief of Albuquerque Ambulance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interviewing skills.
• Customer-centered communication skills.
