What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for a positive, highly organized, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join the accounting team at The Naples Grande Beach Resort. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of the accounts payable process and ensuring that approved invoices are accurately coded, processed, and paid in a timely manner.

What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a dependable team member who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor information.
• Maintain vendor requests including verifying  / changing payment methods for vendors
• Work with Corporate accounting to create new vendors as needed.
• Submit as needed payment batches to CAO based on review by DOF or ADOF, identifying payments by check, ACH, or other payment options
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, account balances, and payment status.
• Communicate with hotel departments and vendors to obtain missing information, approvals, or supporting documentation.
• Review invoices for accuracy, appropriate approvals, supporting documentation, and proper coding.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation in Craftable.
• Process invoices through Dooap in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Research and resolve invoice and vendor account discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, and vendor information.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and ensure accounts payable records are accurate and complete.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records as required.
• Assist the Director of Finance and accounting team with financial reports, reconciliations, and other accounting projects as needed.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Previous accounts payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Experience with Craftable and Dooap preferred.
• Previous hotel or hospitality accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple invoices, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and follow through to resolution.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information with professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, preferred.
