Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:

Accountant for Intercompany Team

Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting in accordance to Group deadlines and guidelines for business units on monthly, quarterly and year end basis

• Manage operational issues, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area

• Ensure close dialogue with Business units in Europe and North America

• Support internal and external audits for business units.

Qualities that would help you to perform in this position:

• University degree with Accounting specialization is preferred

• Solid experience (3+ years) in accounting within an international work environment

• Strong analytical and accounting skills

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process will be considered as an advantage

• Ability to work in a changing environment

• Good computer skills and general accounting system background. Excel skills at Advanced user level  is an advantage

• Fluent English language skills (oral and writing) to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders;

• University degree with Accounting specialization is preferred

• Solid experience (3+ years) in accounting within an international work environment

• ACCA certificate or started ACCA studies is considered as an asset.
