In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire an Accountant.

Position Summary

The accountant is responsible for supporting the daily accounting operations and the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the integrity of financial information while contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities 

The list of essential functions, responsibilities & duties are not limited to the list below and there might be additional ones according to operational needs.

• Support the month-end closing process and related accounting activities.

• Own day-to-day transactional accounting tasks, including accurate posting of journal entries (mainly expenses and fixed asset)
• Assist with the accounts payable process, including routing invoices for internal approval and ensuring timely payments.
• Assist to the daily Revenue Interface (OPERA-ERP) for the revenue and collections reconciliation.
• Monthly suppliers reconciliation
• My Data Agreement
• Preparing bank reconciliations
• Monitoring quarterly contracts and contractor contracts
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Participate in the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting position.
• Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and myDATA requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other ERP accounting software
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
