Who we are looking for:
VML is seeking an Account Supervisor to lead day-to-day activities and creative execution of integrated campaigns over a notable global consumer packaged goods brand. You will be the main client liaison overseeing delivery of work for a global new product launch, ensuring client approvals are secured, client objectives are achieved, and timelines and budgets are met. You will communicate externally with the clients while leading our internal cross-functional teams across successful delivery of work.
The Account Supervisor will interface directly with a large integrated agency team across Creative, Media, PR, and other sister agencies and partners within WPP. Integrated agency partnership experience is strongly preferred for this opportunity.
What you’ll do:
- Client Leadership | Build rapport and credibility with client based on trust, sound counsel, responsiveness to client needs and flawless execution. Develop and update both client and project documents including: creative briefs, estimates, project timelines, media plans, status reports, conference reports and other supporting materials.
- Team | Serve as creative and executional project lead; guide the day-to-day development of client marketing projects from start to finish; secure required client approvals (e.g. creative briefs, budgets, creative materials, etc.); ensure progressive steps in the process are approved with adequate time to meet schedules. Collaborate with creative, project management, production, and/or media teams to develop marketing programs and solutions for client. Keep agency team informed of client requests and changes, anticipate potential problems, and proactively develop solutions.
- Process | Review all documents and creative work prior to submitting to client for review. Organize client presentations, meetings and conference calls, and prepare relevant documents, including agendas, meeting materials and conference reports. Capture and interpret program results, summarize findings, and work with senior team members to recommend program enhancements and/or changes to improve going forward
What you’ll need:
- 5-7+ years account management experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a client lead of a large brand.
- Experience working in an Integrated Agency Team (IAT) environment preferred. Media agency partnership experience required.
- Strong experience in digital marketing across integrated campaigns—media, paid search, social, display, programmatic, SEO, content, UX, etc.
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively with cross functional teams.
- Ability to present ideas and strategies to senior level clients, taking initiative and anticipating questions with a high EQ.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- An ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, vendors and clients to successfully accomplish work.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below.
