Summary:

As an Account Executive for the Loveland Reporter-Herald and Prairie Mountain Media, you will develop high-impact omnichannel advertising programs to achieve advertisers’ business objectives, seamlessly integrating traditional news media, digital platforms, targeted niche publications, and community events. In this role, you will cultivate long-term client partnerships with an emphasis on proactive new business development, while establishing and exceeding both personal and team revenue goals.

Although this is a remote position, candidates must reside in the Loveland/Larimer County, CO area.

What you will do:

• Lead intensive prospecting and strategic sales plan development for new and existing accounts, driving integrated campaigns across core traditional news media, high-growth digital solutions, targeted niche publications, and community expo/event sponsorships
• Evaluate sales opportunities to design custom programs and craft proposals that clearly demonstrate value
• Achieve sales goals and objectives, including key performance indicators such as revenue, active accounts, contract performance, and market share
• Manage sales administration tasks, such as aging and flash reports, the scheduling and processing of all orders, and communicating creative design requests
• Demonstrate high proficiency in Google Suite
• Possess a deep understanding of all marketing platforms—including, but not limited to, traditional media, digital platforms, niche products, and events—leveraging this expertise to solve client challenges with tailored, multi-platform advertising programs

What you will bring:

• Consultative selling expertise and a consistent ability to close a high volume of sales
• Strong written and verbal communication skills alongside a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (preferred)
• Proven track record of sales success and a drive to meet revenue targets (required)
• Prior experience in media sales is a plus

Benefits and Compensation:

The hourly range is $15.16 - $15.71 + cell phone stipend, mileage reimbursement, and uncapped commission (OTE $69,000 - $73,000). Conditions of Employment:
