ABOUT THIS ROLE
BerlinRosen is seeking an Account Coordinator to join the Real Estate team. This role will focus on supporting strategic communications programs for a variety of high-profile high-profile clients spanning real estate and development, nonprofits, public affairs, placemaking, urban issues, and lifestyle. You'll play an active role across media monitoring and landscape analysis, media relations, account coordination, project management and writing. The person best suited for this role will have excellent writing and organizational skills, a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about the news, issues and trends shaping our clients’ work, and internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications, journalism, real estate or a related field.
Note: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a 3 day per week hybrid basis.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
As an Account Coordinator on the Real Estate team, you will…
- Support the implementation of communications strategies, creative brainstorming and campaign planning for multiple high-profile client accounts
- Pitch and place stories across local, regional and national media outlets; build and maintain targeted press lists and develop relationships with relevant reporters and editors
- Write and edit external and internal messaging and media materials, including client emails, press releases, fact sheets, talking points, media pitches and communications plans
- Support day-to-day client communications, including staffing weekly calls, developing meeting agendas and preparing press coverage and event recaps
- Support teams at press events, openings and other client events
- Manage work streams and project tasks across multiple accounts, helping teams stay organized and meet deadlines
Essential skills:
- Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications, public relations or a related field
- Strong writing skills and an interest in media relations and the news landscape
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team to meet shared objectives
WORKING AT BERLINROSEN
Compensation philosophy: BerlinRosen offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.
Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $50,000-$65,000
