Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ABAD COMSEC Custodian that will maintain communication security account management, loading of COMSEC, and inventory control. Responsibilities include ensuring the security and integrity of communication systems and supporting the Link-16 communication network. **This position is located at Ramstein AFB, Germany (International Assignment) **NO REMOTE WORK**

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for supporting the receipt, custody, issue, safeguarding, accounting for, and, when necessary, the destruction or COMSEC material.

• Maintenance of up-to-date records and the submission of required accounting reports.

• Plans and executes Out-Of-Band-Key Transfer (OOBKT) for remote rekey of enterprise encryptors on multiple networks using GEM-X HAIPE Manager. Requires experience in Suite-A and Suite-B network environments, architecture and key material requirements.

• Reads and interprets complex network drawings and documentation as they relate to cryptographic requirements.

• Performs hands-on installation, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of COMSEC equipment, as required.

• Programs and operates approved key fill devices.

• Performs Over-The-Air-Transfer (OTAT) of key material to remote sites.

• Provides training and COMSEC oversight to local and remote site personnel.

• Additionally assists our logistics team with

• Conducting physical inventories and property accountability checks, including verification of asset tags, serial numbers, locations, and assigned custodians.

• Perform basic asset database entry and record updates, ensuring inventory, location, model, and accountability information accurately reflects physical assets.

• Support shipping and receiving activities, including receipt verification, packing documentation, labeling, and coordination of inbound/outbound equipment.

• Assist with equipment movements and property transfers, maintaining required documentation and updating asset records following movement.

• Maintain and organize logistics documentation and supporting records to ensure transactions are traceable and records remain current

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• A bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of recent specialized experience, OR; An associate’s degree plus 7+ years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification plus 7+ years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11+ years of extensive military or specialized experience in lieu of degree.

• Experience with utilizing HAIPE management software such as Viasat VINE network system management software, General Dynamics GEM One Enterprise Encryptor Management software, or others.

• Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Certification

• Must be a graduate of the COMSEC Custodian Course OR component equivalent course

• Understanding of U.S. Air Force IT operational and technical requirements and an advanced understanding of U.S. Air Force IT applications and network systems.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently or under only general direction.

• Active DoD SECRET security clearance required

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience as a COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) in a military capacity.

• Demonstrated experience with COMSEC account administration/management.

• Knowledgeable in the mission and OCONUS operational requirements of the U.S. Air Force.

• Knowledge of or experience with remote cryptographic materials management systems such as Ultra Electronics Remote Cryptographic Management System (RCMS).

• Experience with general inventory management.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
