About the Role
We're looking for a System Administrator to keep our IT operations running smoothly. This role owns day-to-day help desk ticket triage, configures and maintains SSO across business applications, and executes infrastructure changes through our formal change management process.
Key Responsibilities
Ticket Triage & Support
· Monitor the IT ticket queue and triage incoming requests by priority, impact, and urgency
· Categorize, assign, and escalate tickets to the appropriate team or specialist as needed
· Track SLAs and follow up to ensure timely resolution
· Communicate clearly with end users on ticket status and resolution steps
· Maintain and improve triage documentation and runbooks
SSO & Application Access
· Configure and maintain Single Sign-On LSSO) integrations for business
applications (e.g., SAML, OIDCM
· Onboard new applications into the identity provider (e.g., Okta, Azure AD,
Google Workspace)
· Manage user provisioning/deprovisioning and group-based access via SSO
· Troubleshoot authentication and access issues across integrated apps
· Maintain accurate documentation of SSO configurations and app inventory
Change Management
· Submit, document, and execute system changes in accordance with the change management process
· Prepare change requests including risk assessment, rollback plans, and implementation steps
· Coordinate with stakeholders and obtain required approvals before implementing changes
· Execute approved changes during designated maintenance windows · Validate changes post-implementation and document outcomes
Requirements
· 3+ years of experience in system administration or IT support
· Experience with identity providers and SSO protocols LSAML, OIDC, SCIMM
· Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, Zendesk, ServiceNow)
· Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and prioritize competing requests
Nice to Have
· Experience administering Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace
· Some scripting experience LPython, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation · Prior experience in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
