How You’ll Add Value:
The Maintenance Technician is accountable for performing routine & non-routine maintenance, installations, updates and repairs for all storage environments, facilities equipment and issued repair tickets. The technician is also responsible for maintaining the general appearance, functionality and operation of our buildings and critical control areas. Technician will be involved with assigned special projects, installations or decommissioning needs within the facilities network. The Technician is also responsible for unpacking, installing, and assembly of new equipment. This role will require periodic after-hours and on-call duties as determined by departmental needs, periodic travel needs, work with and around LN2 related environments and tanks, as well as provide training as needed for other technicians.
What You’ll Do:
Specific departmental duties as set forth in the task list and/or departmental training check lists including but not limited to:
Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly facility and storage environment maintenance
Assist with annual facility and storage environment maintenance
Assist with the install, removal, validation and calibration of essential operations equipment
Responsible for general cleaning duties for the facility which includes cleaning the warehouse floor and maintaining general appearance of the facility, storage environments, facilities inventory items, recycling of cardboard, and general disposal needs
Diagnose, repair, and maintain facility operation and storage environment related issues and will work with 3rd party vendors through preventative maintenance, repairs, or as needed
Complete all necessary and needed documentation in an appropriate and quality manner including training documentation
Maintain accurate count and re-order of facilities inventory and disposable/consumable materials
Pro-actively communicates all issues to appropriate personnel
What You Will Bring:
High school Diploma or Equivalent is minimal requirement
Mechanically inclined skill-set; experienced maintaining/repairing industrial and commercial level equipment
Ability to work independently or in a team
Good communication skills
Strong detail orientation with quality and goal mindset
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Employee will be working in an area with potentially infectious materials
Employee will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment and workspace they occupy while enforcing and following universal precautions for blood borne pathogens when working in an area considered to be potentially contaminated
Position will require ability to work periodically in a -20°F environment and around Liquid Nitrogen in tanks and/ or cold environments while utilizing the required PPE in all work conditions
Ability to lift 50 lbs.

United States Base Compensation: $26.00 - $32.50The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure.
