We are excited to offer the position of Senior Specialist – Footwear Design Performance (Team Sports) within our Design team. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of next-generation performance footwear for team sports, translating athlete insights, biomechanical data and advanced technologies into innovative design solutions. 

You will operate in a fast-paced environment where the full design process — from concept exploration to production briefing — is driven by performance, precision and speed. Working at the intersection of sport science, computational design, AI-enabled workflows and advanced manufacturing, you will help shape the future of performance footwear within the Team Sports category

Your Mission:

• You will be an integral part of the Performance Footwear Team Sports vertical, contributing to the development of high-performance products built for elite athletes.
• You will own projects across the full design process — from initial research and concept creation through final commercialization.
• You will translate athlete insights, biomechanical analysis and sport-specific movement patterns into meaningful design solutions that elevate performance on the field.
• You will develop concepts, mockups, visuals, and high-quality 2D and 3D assets, supporting rapid iteration and clear communication across teams.
• You will leverage advanced digital workflows including 3D design, computational tools and AI-driven ideation to accelerate concept exploration and innovation.
• You will collaborate closely with sports engineering, biomechanics and testing teams to validate and refine performance hypotheses.
• You will work closely with our development partners in Vietnam, traveling two to four times per year to finalize prototypes and bring concepts to production.
• You will contribute to shaping On’s design vision and creative culture, pushing the boundaries of performance footwear within the Team Sports category.

Your Story:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or a related field.
• Proven experience in performance footwear design (3+ years), preferably within team sports or sport performance categories.
• Strong understanding of athlete needs, movement patterns and performance requirements within team sports.
• Expert skills in sketching and storytelling, combined with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D design tools such as Maya, ZBrush, Blender, Rhino or similar platforms.
• Experience with AI-enabled creative tools, generative design workflows, and computational approaches to design exploration.
• Understanding of footwear construction, materials and industrial manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to build physical mockups and proof-of-concept prototypes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design ideas within cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Team mission

Come join our Design Foundations team as our Senior Systems Designer! This is a new team and is an important part of the business strategy moving forward, focusing on a higher quality modular design system and faster design/development to ship times. This includes evolving systems processes with our XFN partners with automated tooling, new AI patterns, and how we should approach scaling our systems with accessibility and localization teams. As our Senior Systems designer, you will help lead GetYourGuide into the future with best in systems designs and processes.

Your mission

• Shape, govern, and evolve the design language at GetYourGuide, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability across products. In the new world of design systems, where automation, AI-assisted tooling, and code-driven design play central roles, you will bridge design, engineering, and product strategy.
• Partner closely with multi-disciplinary team members - Product Design, Content Design, Product Management, Engineering, Research, Data products, and others – to take the business to the next level.
• Work across all stages of the design process (requirements gathering, ideation, concept development, validation, wireframing, prototyping, final visual design, and implementation support).
• Guide teams in using the system effectively, while nurturing a culture that embraces system thinking over isolated solutions.
• Anticipate and embed emerging trends like generative UI, adaptive theming, and real-time personalization into the system roadmap.
• Create beautiful, emotionally compelling, pixel-perfect designs that communicate design system patterns to engineers and your partners.
• Advance the discipline of high quality product design within the organization.
• You bring a proactive approach to your work, embracing challenges and ambiguity with confidence. Your learning-by-doing mindset allows you to adapt quickly and deliver impactful results in dynamic environments.

Your toolkit

• 6+ years of experience in system design and product design
• Track record of designing and shipping design patterns that have scaled to millions of users and had successful outcomes for global users and the business.
• Worked in various engagement models, from centralized to embedded to help support a tech organization with the system design.
• You understand the interplay between frontend interactions and backend logic, ensuring your designs are not only visually compelling but also technically feasible. Your collaboration with engineers is seamless, bridging the gap between design intent and technical execution.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, and drive clarity that brings the user, technology, and business together to aid their roadmaps.
• Experience connecting the dots across the organization with other related initiatives across the company while driving collaboration.
• Exceptional collaboration skills with proven processes that brings the tech functions together to thoughtfully craft a design system in code and pixels.
• Extraordinary thoughtfulness and craft in interaction design and prototyping.
• Humble, collaborative approach to partnering with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders to find the best solution together.
• Experience collaborating with machine learning and data science teams to influence design from a user-centered and GenAI lens.

You will serve as a thought leader, shaping a forward-thinking vision for Paid Search across EMEA while driving growth in this service area. You will lead the charge in evolving our Search discipline in a rapidly evolving and disrupting ecosystem. You will lead a team of currently 50 across EMEA and give support by removing blockers and ensuring they have access to the right tools and knowledge. Your goal is to empower every consultant/lead, giving them the confidence to deliver high-quality projects and tasks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Take a strategic lead in the overall performance, profitability, and long-term business growth of our Paid Search discipline across EMEA
• Accelerate and drive the transition from traditional Paid Search management to AI-driven accounts.
• Be a key player in new business efforts, actively engaging in pitches, refining our sales narratives, and collaborating closely with our new business department to secure and expand our client base. 
• Establish the right organisational set-up of the Paid Search teams to ensure quality and performance across EMEA; 
• Drive adoption of the right tech and tooling, alongside ensuring we have a data-led approach across all accounts
• Coach and mentor our Paid Search Leads and empower every consultant to deliver high-impact, business-driven Paid Search projects.
• Make sure the Paid Search team has an innovative mindset and is a first mover in adopting new technology and advertising solutions. Recognized in the industry by winning awards;
• Oversee top Paid Search clients and drive innovation, project growth, and excellence in delivery.
• Spend at least 60% of time on projects or sales initiatives
• Enable and boost x-craft collaboration, bringing our Paid Search activities and offerings closer together with adjacent crafts, such as Content, Data, AI, Organic Search and Social.
• Ensure an agile development of our Paid Search proposition, aligning product-market fit and traction with the right target clients.
• Encourages knowledge sharing and best practices between teams within EMEA.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Have at least 10 years of experience in Paid Search.
• Are highly autonomous and proactive, demonstrating the ability to own complex projects and make significant decisions with minimal oversight.
• You have a deep curiosity for AI and machine learning. You don't just follow trends; you understand how to apply tools.
• Have a significant focus on business development, a successful track record with pitching, and client relationship management. You genuinely love the sales process.
• Have broader digital marketing knowledge (Social, Display, Content Marketing, Data etc.).
• Have experience with, and gain a lot of energy from, guiding other people and leading leaders.
• Are analytical, flexible, and able to work independently.

The design space of biomolecules is unimaginably vast — far beyond what can be explored experimentally. Yet within this space lie molecules with properties essential for new medicines. Our machine learning models learn to design therapeutic biomolecules with specific, desirable functions.

We advance the state of the art in molecular design by training large-scale foundation models and developing cutting edge generative approaches. The models learn from diverse heterogeneous datasets and are refined through focused fine-tuning and feedback from experiments. Key to progress is a team that combines exceptional machine learning expertise with thorough domain understanding.

You will collaborate closely with other machine learning researchers and engineers, as well as computational and experimental biologists, to advance these models and translate their capabilities into real therapeutic designs.

Your Mission, should you choose to accept it

• Embody our vision of an antedisciplinary environment and embrace learning about areas outside of your traditional area of expertise
• Develop, implement, train, and iteratively improve state-of-the-art models for biomolecule design
• Analyze, visualize, and communicate results to support team efforts in improving models and data
• Create, deploy, and refine tools for efficient, reliable machine learning experimentation and production
• Work with biologists to collect data for the training and evaluation of generative models of biomolecules
• Provide mentorship and technical direction to team members as appropriate

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing ML models
• Demonstrated track record of implementing, training, improving advanced machine learning models
• Highly capable programmer fluent in Python ecosystem and PyTorch or similar deep learning framework
• Availability to work with team members across US and Europe, with meetings starting at 8am PT and ending at 7pm CET
• Readiness to travel several times a year for company retreats and business events
• We value the benefits of in-person collaboration and expect candidates to primarily work from our office locations

Preferred technical skills

• PhD in AI/ML, computer science, computational biology, physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (e.g., industry experience, research, or advanced technical expertise)
• Strong skills in designing, executing, and documenting machine learning experiments
• Practical experience with modern generative models
• Strong software engineering skills, in particular for data processing, evaluation of ML models, compute cluster orchestration
• Experience with large-scale model training, foundation models, model parallelism, multi-node training
• Experience with bio sequence data and datasets — various genomic and protein data, sequencing, functional assays, etc
• Knowledge of biochemistry, molecular/cell biology, and drug development
