The Position
The Data Engineering team is a vital component of OPSWAT's technology division, responsible for building and maintaining the foundational data infrastructure that supports the entire organization. The team's mission is to create a scalable, reliable, and secure data platform on Microsoft Azure, enabling data-driven decision-making across all business units. This involves designing and managing data warehouses and data lakes, developing robust data integration pipelines, and ensuring the quality and accessibility of data assets. A key strategic initiative for the team is the development and implementation of a Master Data Management (MDM) layer, which will play a critical role in enhancing data consistency and accuracy across various systems and applications.
What You Will be Doing
- Design and Maintenance of Azure Data Warehouse/Data Lake:
- Ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of the data platform, requiring proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Evaluate and implementing strategies to optimize the data warehouse and data lake for cost-effectiveness and efficiency, aligning with best practices for Azure data management
- Development of ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure, utilizing tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks, to ingest and transform data from a variety of sources.
- Implementing data quality rules and processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data within the platform
- Optimize data storage & computing resources for cost efficiency
- Proactively identify pipeline bottlenecks and performance issues
- Development and Implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) Layer: A key responsibility is to research and recommend suitable MDM tools and technologies available within the Azure ecosystem. Our goal is to establish a "single source of truth" for critical data entities, ensuring consistency and quality across all connected systems.
- Collaboration and Communication: The individual will work closely with product teams, sales and revenue operations, customer experience, and other stakeholders across the organization to understand their data requirements and deliver effective solutions that meet their needs. This requires the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a layman terms to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Risk management: ensure data warehouse availability & resiliency (during service outage, network issues, unexpected high loads, external attacks, disaster recovery, etc.)
- Define effective and measurable KPIs for the team and individual team members
- Team resource management & Key Man Dependency mitigations
- Strategic planning (at least 3 quarters in advance on team roadmap and vision)
- Study new technologies & industry trends and propose appropriate solutions for company’s need
What We Need from You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in data warehouse/data lake design, implementation. This experience should include hands-on work with core Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
- Extensive experience with ETL/ELT tools within the Azure ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
- A strong understanding of database architecture principles, encompassing both relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics) and the concepts of NoSQL databases for handling unstructured data.
- Experience in integrating data from multiple SaaS applications, including Salesforce, Hubspot, Netsuite, HRIS (e.g., Workday, ADP), and ZoomInfo.
- Experience in researching and implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills are essential for this role.
It Would be Nice if You Had
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, are required.
- Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Azure Event Hubs or Kafka.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automating data pipelines, such as Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in a Scrum Agile team.

The position
OPSWAT Network Access Control (NAC) provides comprehensive visibility, control, and enforcement across network environments. By combining device posture assessment, authentication, policy enforcement, and threat detection, OPSWAT NAC enables organizations to securely manage access across wired, wireless, VPN, and BYOD environments while maintaining strong security and compliance standards.
We are looking for a hands-on Full‑Stack Developer to join the Network Access Control (NAC) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams across the full product lifecycle. You will work on both backend services and user-facing applications, and you will see the direct impact of your work as it helps customers secure their most critical network infrastructure.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, develop, and optimize full‑stack solutions for high‑performance and scalable Network Access Control systems.
- Develop and maintain backend services including RESTful APIs, gRPC services, background jobs, and database integrations.
- Design and implement frontend components and user interfaces for network management, monitoring, and reporting features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across both frontend and backend to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; contribute to technical documentation and system diagrams.
- Analyze and optimize application performance, scalability, and security across the full stack.
- Apply best practices in secure coding, authentication, authorization, and cybersecurity principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end software solutions.
What We Need from You
- At least 2 years of experience in software development with hands-on experience across backend and frontend components.
- Strong experience with Go for backend development, including Go Core, OOP, and Design Patterns.
- Experience with Go backend frameworks such as Gin, Echo, or Go-kit.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and JSON-based communication.
- Experience building frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, SSO, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across frontend and backend layers.
- Experience working with Linux environments, Docker, Microservices architecture, and Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
It Would Be Nice If You Have
- Familiarity with platform-based or centralized network/security products.
- Experience using JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and SonarQube.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Background in cybersecurity domains such as network security, device security, or access control systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Mathematics.

As a Software QA Engineer, whilst being technical and hands-on capable, you will oversee and input to all aspects of quality assurance including applying industry best practices, developing new testing solutions and methods, and establishing metrics. Managing the successful delivery of projects will require you to plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery lifecycle. This will include working closely with the department’s Product Managers, coordinating with QA and developers, as well as liaising with key project stakeholders as required.
This role offers challenges across a wide variety of projects and responsibilities, including the opportunity to influence the future direction of the department and systems used across the business.
Major Responsibilities
- Follow and evolve QA processes to ensure the use of industry-accepted best practices.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures including regressions tests.
- Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools using techniques such as White box, Grey Box, Black box, Test-to-Pass, Test-to-Fail
- Troubleshoot and investigate defects for the software applications.
- Report defects found during testing using Jira as a defect tracking tool.
- Conduct new functionality and regression tests, determine and report issues for follow-up.
- Collaborate with the business to assess or diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions.
- Support end users during User Acceptance Testing phase.
- Build and maintain good communication with all stakeholders involved in the SDLC while working close with them during the different phases.
Additional Responsibilities
There is a strong possibility that this role will also take on Scrum Master responsibilities, which may account for approximately 10 to 20 percent of the overall workload. These responsibilities may include facilitating Scrum ceremonies, supporting sprint planning and retrospectives, removing impediments, and helping the team continuously improve its delivery practices.
Prior experience as a Scrum Master is not required, although it would be considered an advantage. What is essential is a willingness to learn and develop Scrum facilitation skills with the support and guidance of peers.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working in a similar role
- Experience in software business analysis and/or software quality assurance.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Good understanding of using Postman or similar tools for testing APIs
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and manage priorities effectively
- Ability to create future-proof reusable test cases
- Comfortable working with remote teams
- Excellent personal organisation and ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks
- Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
- Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that supports production and maintenance level changes
- Comfortable working without routine supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
