Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, the Customer Success Manager Scale (CSMS) manages a portfolio of customer accounts and is responsible for driving customer value realisation, engagement, and retention across the RightShip product suite.
The CSM, Scale will focus on the mid-market and long-tail segment of customers that are primed for nurturing and growth. The role ensures customers are successfully onboarded, supported and enabled to maximise the value of RightShip’s solutions throughout the lifecycle of their engagement. The CSM acts as a trusted partner to customers, working closely with Sales, Product, and Support teams to ensure strong implementation, adoption, proactive engagement, and timely contract renewals.
The CSM plays an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying risks to retention, and supporting growth opportunities across the customer portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Onboarding and Implementation
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers during onboarding and implementation across the RightShip suite of products and services.
- Coordinate onboarding activities including account enablement, configuration, training and early adoption support.
- Guide customers through key product capabilities and ensure alignment between customer objectives and the value delivered by RightShip solutions.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Customer Success by supporting the handover of new accounts and confirming customer goals and success criteria.
Customer Engagement and Value Realisation
- Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, maintaining regular engagement to ensure customers derive value from RightShip’s products and services.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders to understand their operational needs and priorities.
- Monitor customer usage, engagement and satisfaction to identify opportunities to improve adoption and overall customer outcomes.
- Proactively identify potential risks, blockers or issues affecting customer success and work with internal teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Act as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback and sharing insights with Product, Sales and other internal teams to improve solutions and customer experience.
Customer Retention and Account Health
- Support the achievement of customer retention and renewal targets by ensuring customers realise measurable value from RightShip’s services.
- Maintain visibility of contract timelines and work collaboratively with Sales teams to support timely renewals.
- Identify potential retention risks within the portfolio and escalate where necessary to ensure proactive mitigation.
- Track key customer success indicators including engagement, adoption and satisfaction across assigned accounts.
Customer Support and Issue Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries, product usage questions and service requests.
- Coordinate internally with Product, Platform Support and other teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain clear communication with customers throughout issue resolution and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Support the delivery of service levels and response standards expected by customers.
Commercial Collaboration
- Identify opportunities within the customer portfolio for additional value through product adoption, expanded usage or additional services.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to support customer discussions relating to upgrades, renewals or new solutions.
- Provide insights and context from ongoing customer engagement to support commercial conversations and account planning.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Marketing or related discipline
- 6–8+ years’ experience in customer success, account management, customer experience or client relationship roles.
- Experience working with SaaS platforms, digital products or maritime industry solutions is desirable.
- Strong ability to build relationships with customers and understand their operational needs.
- Ability to communicate product value and translate technical capabilities into practical customer outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

RightShip is looking for an exceptional Lead Front-end Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible not only for building high-quality, scalable front-end solutions, but also for providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of front-end developers. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Delivery (Hands-on)
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable front-end code.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
• Minimum of 8 years in front-end development.
• At least 4 years in a front-end developer leading role.
• Diploma in web design and development, or equivalent qualifications.
• Advanced proficiency in HTML/CSS.
• Experience in the JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with frameworks such as Angular / Aurelia / React.
• Knowledge of web standards.
• Knowledge on mobile-first Responsive Web Design.
• Knowledge of CSS pre-processors such as SCSS / SASS / LESS.
• Experience in Cross-Browser Compatibility.

As a Software QA Engineer, whilst being technical and hands-on capable, you will oversee and input to all aspects of quality assurance including applying industry best practices, developing new testing solutions and methods, and establishing metrics. Managing the successful delivery of projects will require you to plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery lifecycle. This will include working closely with the department’s Product Managers, coordinating with QA and developers, as well as liaising with key project stakeholders as required.
This role offers challenges across a wide variety of projects and responsibilities, including the opportunity to influence the future direction of the department and systems used across the business.
Major Responsibilities
- Follow and evolve QA processes to ensure the use of industry-accepted best practices.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures including regressions tests.
- Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools using techniques such as White box, Grey Box, Black box, Test-to-Pass, Test-to-Fail
- Troubleshoot and investigate defects for the software applications.
- Report defects found during testing using Jira as a defect tracking tool.
- Conduct new functionality and regression tests, determine and report issues for follow-up.
- Collaborate with the business to assess or diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions.
- Support end users during User Acceptance Testing phase.
- Build and maintain good communication with all stakeholders involved in the SDLC while working close with them during the different phases.
Additional Responsibilities
There is a strong possibility that this role will also take on Scrum Master responsibilities, which may account for approximately 10 to 20 percent of the overall workload. These responsibilities may include facilitating Scrum ceremonies, supporting sprint planning and retrospectives, removing impediments, and helping the team continuously improve its delivery practices.
Prior experience as a Scrum Master is not required, although it would be considered an advantage. What is essential is a willingness to learn and develop Scrum facilitation skills with the support and guidance of peers.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working in a similar role
- Experience in software business analysis and/or software quality assurance.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Good understanding of using Postman or similar tools for testing APIs
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and manage priorities effectively
- Ability to create future-proof reusable test cases
- Comfortable working with remote teams
- Excellent personal organisation and ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks
- Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
- Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that supports production and maintenance level changes
- Comfortable working without routine supervision

RightShip is seeking an exceptional Software Architect to join our team. This role will help us continue building world-class, data-driven products to solve some of the most challenging problems in the maritime industry by maintaining and improving quality across critical data sets.
This role requires an individual who is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing high-level software architecture decisions to ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of systems. They serve as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, guiding teams through design and development best practices.
Major Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Define and document software architecture aligned with business goals, scalability needs, and technical standards.
- Technology Strategy: Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for long-term system success.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Code and System Reviews: Oversee code quality and architecture compliance through peer reviews, technical audits, and mentoring.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize system performance.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

- Experience: 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in an architectural or senior technical leadership role.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., .NET, Python, TypeScript).
- Experience with frameworks such as Angular / Aurelia / React
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) beyond basic code completion
- Understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
- Experience working with AI models and frameworks such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama, Mistral, or Gemini.
- Deep understanding of software design patterns
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles
- Proficiency in event sourcing and CQRS for scalable, decoupled systems
- Hands-on experience with event-based architectures and messaging platforms such as:
- Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Event Grid
- Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SNS/SQS
- Understanding of event choreography vs orchestration patterns
- Strong experience in Azure cloud architecture - especially AKS, Functions, App Services, Storage, and Application Insights

Position Description
Data Governance Advisor

The Data Governance Team is directly responsible for improving the data maturity of the organisation through the delivery of Data Governance and Data Quality services at an enterprise level. The value that data can create for RightShip and our customers can only be achieved through a strong data foundation and mature organisational capabilities in managing, processing and utilising this data.
Reporting to the Data Governance Lead, the Data Governance Advisor will play a significant role in supporting RightShip in leveraging data as an asset to ensure data can be used to inform key decisions and deliver valuable outcomes to customers and the wider ecosystem in general.
You will drive the adoption and success of data governance across the organization by advocating for its importance, implementing frameworks, policies, and procedures, and engaging with stakeholders to monitor and track key governance KPIs.
Major Responsibilities
DATA GOVERNANCE
- Provide subject matter expertise in data management and governance
- Own the implementation of data governance tool and support the creation and maintenance of a centralized data catalog to improve data discovery, accessibility, and understanding across the organization.
- Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards that align with the organization’s goals and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with business units and data stewards to establish data quality metrics and continually assess data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality problems
- Act as a liaison between business units and tech/date teams to ensure alignment of data governance efforts with organizational goals and operational needs.
- Collaborate with data stewards to ensure they are effectively managing the data within their domains. This includes helping them understand their roles and providing the necessary tools and processes to succeed.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, tools, and practices that can enhance data governance, data quality, and overall data maturity within the organization.
- Work closely with legal, compliance, and privacy teams to ensure that data governance practices align with ethical data use and privacy laws, protecting customer data and building trust.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Identify potential risks related to data governance, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies are implemented and that data governance aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Data Lineage Tracking: Ensure end-to-end tracking of data lineage to guarantee traceability of data assets, from origin to consumption, providing transparency and trust in data processes.

- Build trust and positive culture within RightShip
- Promote the importance of data governance throughout the organization, ensuring that data management principles are understood and followed.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate employees on data governance policies, roles, and their responsibilities regarding data.

- Lead and direct staff to ensure achievement of quality and governance targets
QUALITY AND STANDARDS
- Ensure office compliance with ISO 9001 and 27001 standards and policies
- Support the implementation of global processes and instructions
- Ensure that all procedures and instructions are followed to mitigate any potential risk to RightShip arising from political (e.g. sanctions) or regulatory/ legal compliance requirements on an ongoing basis
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in the data management and data governance domains (3+ years)
- Solid understanding of data governance practices and principles, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
- Proficient in data extraction, manipulation and presentation (SQL and MS Office Suite)
- You understand, advocate and can clearly articulate for the importance of data governance for a business
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to engage with and influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
