THE ROLE
As a Senior Designated Services Engineer for FlashBlade, you will champion customer success by delivering world-class technical support to our most strategic, named accounts. Operating within our elite, 24x7 global technical services organization, your mission is to maximize platform reliability and resolve high-stakes, multi-platform infrastructure anomalies. You will differentiate yourself by building trusted-advisor relationships with account stakeholders while collaborating across engineering and account teams to drive rapid issue resolution.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and Drive Strategic Technical Resolutions: Lead the triage, diagnosis, and resolution of complex hardware, software, and environmental anomalies within the FlashBlade ecosystem to guarantee business continuity for high-value named accounts.
- Cultivate Trusted Account Relationships: Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts, proactively evaluating infrastructure health and aligning support strategies with clear, real-time stakeholder communication.
- Manage Hot Escalations: Architect and lead cross-functional, multi-participant resolution streams during critical outages and hot escalations, synthesizing engineering capabilities with customer-facing leadership.
- Scale Organizational Intelligence: Author high-impact technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to scale solutions globally, while actively mentoring and coaching junior support engineers.
- Must be able to work the following shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing and or technical technial support role,
- Enterprise Infrastructure Troubleshooting Expertise: Mastery in diagnosing complex, multi-vendor environmental issues spanning Linux/Unix systems, networked storage architectures, and advanced enterprise server setups.
- Advanced Networking Capabilities: Deep technical proficiency in triaging, analyzing, and resolving Ethernet, IP, and high-performance file/object storage communication layer protocols.
- High-Stakes Incident Leadership: Proven capability to direct technical communication and handle critical customer situations effectively when presenting technical realities to executive leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to build strong internal networks across engineering, product, and account teams to accelerate product improvements and bug fixes.
In-Office Commitment: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi or North Carolina office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

THE ROLE
As a Technical Support Engineer on our best-in-class 24x7 Support team, you'll be a frontline hero, ensuring our customers continue to have an exceptional experience with our FlashArray product. You will leverage your technical expertise to analyze and resolve complex issues involving hardware, software, and environmental factors, all while building strong collaborative relationships across the company to champion the customer's needs. Your work directly impacts our customer satisfaction and helps us maintain our industry-leading NPS score.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Proactively own and resolve customer issues from initial contact through to resolution across all severity levels, ensuring all customer-facing communication is professional, concise, and timely.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems involving our FlashArray products and their interactions with diverse multi-platform environments (e.g., operating systems, networking, and storage area networks).
- Drive customer satisfaction by leading multi-participant customer calls, including hot escalations, and acting as a customer advocate by championing their issues internally with other teams like Engineering.
- Enhance our knowledge base by creating and updating internal and customer-facing FAQ and knowledge base articles to empower both customers and fellow team members.
- Mentor junior Support Engineers by sharing your expertise and guiding them on best practices for issue resolution and customer management.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional enterprise level technical support role
- Proven experience in a technical support role where you have owned and resolved complex customer issues in a multi-platform enterprise environment.
- Deep technical troubleshooting skills in a professional enterprise setting, with the ability to analyze and diagnose issues related to storage, networking, replication, performance, and space.
- Working knowledge of a range of technologies, including operating systems (such as LINUX, Windows, VMware), LANs & WANs, and Storage Area Networks.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and support cases simultaneously while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi, Utah office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

THE ROLE
As a Designated Support Engineer (DSE), you will be the technical anchor for our most strategic accounts, ensuring their mission-critical infrastructure thrives on the Everpure Platform. You will bridge the gap between complex technical troubleshooting and relationship management, acting as a trusted advisor who transforms potential disruptions into seamless operations. Joining a team with industry-leading NPS scores, you’ll collaborate closely with Engineering and Account teams to champion customer success and drive product excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive Account Health and Stability: Act as the primary technical point of contact for named accounts, proactively identifying potential system risks and providing tailored architectural guidance to ensure long-term uptime.
- Orchestrate Complex Resolution: Lead the end-to-end troubleshooting of high-impact cases involving hardware, software, and environmental variables, ensuring a rapid return to service while maintaining professional, concise executive communications.
- Champion the Customer Voice: Represent customer needs in internal engineering reviews and lead high-stakes "hot" escalation calls, translating technical challenges into actionable product improvements.
- Scale Collective Intelligence: Mentor junior engineers through structured coaching and contribute high-quality technical documentation (FAQs/KBs) to the global Support knowledge base.
- Manage Critical Escalations: Own the lifecycle of support tickets from intake to resolution, maintaining accountability for KPIs related to response times and customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing and or technical support role
- Technical Troubleshooting Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex issues within multi-platform environments, including deep knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, VMware) and Storage Area Networks (SAN).
- Advanced Networking & Infrastructure Savvy: Proficient in troubleshooting Fibre Channel, Ethernet, IP, and iSCSI protocols, with a strong understanding of enterprise server components (CPU, Chipset, Memory) and Hypervisors.
- Consultative Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical jargon into business-impact language for executive leadership while building trust-based relationships with technical stakeholders.
- Operational Agility: Proven capability to manage multiple high-priority projects and support cases simultaneously, with the flexibility to support weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations as needed.
- Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi or Raleigh office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
