Position Description:
Okta's Customer Identity Cloud (CIC), powered by Auth0 technology, is an easy to implement authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers. We make access to applications safe, secure, and seamless for more than 100 million daily logins around the world. Our modern approach to identity enables this Tier-0 global service to deliver convenience, privacy, and security so customers can focus on innovation.
The Services Architect - CIAM is a technical authority on both cloud and on-premises based IT systems and is responsible for ensuring the successful design and implementation of Okta’s industry leading cloud identity platform at our customers. You will focus on Okta’s CIAM offering targeted at customer identity use cases. You will develop relationships with customers to help them achieve their business goals while promoting creative solutions. You will establish yourself as a trusted partner with your customers with a focus on their success. You will translate business needs and insights into an actionable strategy and assist customers in driving their initiatives to results and high business value. This is a key member of the Professional Services (PS) team, working as part of a PS Delivery Team on each customer implementation.
This role is for the Customer Identity Cloud product unit and you’ll be supporting CIC customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and lead the gathering of business, functional and technical requirements for establishing an Identity platform powered by Okta for our customers.
- Work with customers to document the common technical and functional requirements for specific solutions.
- Support creation of project plans to develop and implement the proposed solution.
- Participate as a member of the professional services delivery team to translate requirements to designs and to provide technical leadership and oversight.
- Assist in periodic customer health-checks and project reviews.
Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 8+ years of overall IT / software development experience, solution design and technical architecture experience
- 3+ years of consulting experience
- 3+ years driving application architecture design
- 3+ years of experience with (IAM) architectures
- 3+ years of experience with implementing cloud computing solutions such as AWS, Google Apps, Salesforce etc.
- Experience with customer identity use cases for B2C and B2B: user registration, multi factor authentication, SSO, delegated administration, social identities.
- Demonstrated ability to work and interact with CxOs and high-level customer executives.
- Experience in leading discovery workshop to derive customer requirements, specifications, business processes.
- Experience in developing functional specifications and system design specifications for customer engagements.
- Strong knowledge of Security Architecture, Design and Operations, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, SSO, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC, web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, REST
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, .Net, JavaScript, Angular, React
- Familiarity with IAM solution providers is strongly desired.
- Experience integrating with a multitude of On-Prem and SaaS based products.
- Exhibits confidence and a deep understanding of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
- Identifies critical issues with ease.

- TOGAF and/or CISSP certification is a plus.

You will be working on the Ivanti Neurons cloud products. Building the future of Ivanti products in the cloud. Ivanti Neurons uses a micro service architecture running on Kubernetes.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy microservices using C#/.Net Core.
- Use Python, build MCP Servers, Build AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Azure AI Foundry, working with LLMs.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Web application using Angular.
- Interact with cross-functional groups including product manager, customer support and sales to develop new functionality and support existing customers.
- Interact and collaborate with teams around the world.
- Participate in all phases of the application development process
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years software development experience
- Programming languages: C#, .Net, Python
- Experience with
- Using Python to build MCP Servers, Build AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Azure AI Foundry, working with LLMs.
- Experience with modern cloud development practices (microservices architectures, REST interfaces, etc.)
- Track record of delivering successful software
- Strong software design and development experience
- Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices
- Experience with automated testing and test-driven development
- Ability to work onsite in out South Jordan, UT office 2 days a week Mondays and Wednesdays 9am to 5:30 and remote Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.
- Ability to start without immigration support now or at any time the future.

What You’ll Do
NetDocuments is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and development of AI-powered solutions that enhance how legal professionals work. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader, driving architecture, guiding engineering teams, and partnering closely with Product and Design to deliver scalable, high-quality applications.
This is a hands-on role combining deep technical expertise with mentorship and strategic influence, where you will shape the direction of AI-driven development across the platform.
You will:
Lead Technical Strategy & Architecture
- Define and drive the technical direction for AI-enabled products and platform capabilities.
- Design scalable, high-performance architectures and document solutions through clear diagrams and technical specifications.
- Break down complex systems into simple, maintainable components while ensuring long-term scalability and reliability.
- Partner with Principal and Distinguished Engineers to design and build robust, distributed systems.
Build & Deliver High-Quality Solutions
- Contribute directly to the codebase (approximately 70% hands-on), building and delivering full-stack applications in a production environment.
- Develop and integrate AI-driven capabilities using leading AI providers.
- Ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and quality standards through testing, monitoring, and optimization.
- Implement and maintain APIs using REST and GraphQL.
Drive Innovation & Technical Excellence
- Research, evaluate, and prototype new technologies, tools, and approaches through proof-of-concepts.
- Stay current with emerging development practices, particularly in AI and cloud-native technologies.
- Continuously improve system performance, observability, and operational health through logging, telemetry, and proactive monitoring.
Mentor & Collaborate
- Mentor and guide engineers, supporting their technical growth and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align on priorities and execution.

What You’ll Need to be Successful
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including building and delivering production-grade applications.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Strong expertise in full-stack development, with experience in technologies such as C#, .NET, React, Java, or Angular (C# and React preferred).
- Experience working with AI platforms or providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar.
- Deep understanding of system design, architecture, and distributed systems.

Compensation Transparency
The compensation range for this position is: $205,000 - $225,000
The posted cash compensation for this position includes on target earnings. Some roles may qualify for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are determined based on various factors specific to each candidate, such as career level, skills, experience, geographic location, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
