Overview
As a Compensation Manager you will serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert responsible for developing, optimizing, and leading compensation programs. You will evolve our compensation frameworks to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in alignment with our business goals and compensation philosophy. As a trusted business partner to the People Team and senior leadership, you will drive compensation strategy, lead complex projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver data-driven insights to shape equitable, competitive pay practices.

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $120,000.00 - $145,000.00

As Babylist’s Senior Engineering Manager, Machine Learning & Discovery+Site Monetization, you’ll lead the team driving the next era of our machine learning and personalization efforts across the product. This is a hands-on leadership role for a manager who remains technically fluent while scaling people, systems, and impact. You’ll manage and grow a high-performing ML-focused pod spanning product recommendations, search, PLPs, and site monetization, with a clear mandate: maximize revenue and user value across surface areas through personalization.
You’ll guide the team on technical direction behind our homepage feed, “add next” experience, and other core personalization surfaces, while building the foundations for long-term ML excellence at Babylist.

What the Role Is
Babylist is at an inflection point. We've built a category-defining brand with over $500M in revenue, and we're now expanding into entirely new verticals, which means we need to build the leadership team that will take us there. This is where you come in.
As our Principal Executive Recruiter, you'll own the most consequential searches at Babylist. Director through C-suite roles across Product, Marketing, Operations, and new business lines we're standing up from scratch. You'll work directly with our executive team, not as a support function but as a true thought partner, helping them think clearly about what they actually need, shaping role narratives before they go to market, and closing leaders who will define our next chapter.

About the Team:
The FP&A team partners with executive team members across the company to provide timely, fact-based, data-driven decision support to help drive critical business decisions. The team drives annual planning, owns the operating plan and long-term financial model, and is responsible for both internal and external / Board reporting.
About the Role:
In this highly visible role, you will work closely with GTM leaders to forecast and analyze efficiency metrics, influence resource allocation, and support strategic investment decisions across the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills and will take a data-driven approach to influencing business decisions. You will combine your financial modeling skills with knowledge of the business to become a trusted business partner to our GTM organizations.
What You’ll Do:
For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. Present and demonstrate Toshiba solutions in group meetings to senior executives and emphasizes salable features such as company vision, strategy, reputation, products/systems architecture, flexibility of design, process re-engineering capability, integration of client systems environment, return-on-investment (ROI) studies, etc.
Responds to customers RFP/RFI Requests in a timely and professional manner to facilitate success. Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers. Effectively position and recommend the right TGCS products and solutions. Create or reviews analysis of such tasks as: sales proposals, work-order cost estimates/proposal completion; ROI Studies, RFP Responses, etc.
Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales. Establish and maintain strong relationships, with both internal and external customers. Develop a network in person and via phone with key decision makers in an assigned/designated territory. Network and develop relationships with C-level executives.
Help to develop, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle, also ensuring forecasting accuracy and timeliness. Work in tandem with the various Product and Services Sales Specialists to provide a seamless interface into the company sales efforts.
Represent TGCS in the field, at trade shows and seminars. Develop and maintain relationships with other networking and business groups in the territory. Maintain constant awareness of markets, competitor activities and problems within the marketplace, recognizing trends that develop, and making appropriate strategic and tactical sales/marketing/program recommendations to take corrective actions.
Travel as necessary to maintain a presence with customers, staff, and enhance relationship opportunities, attend trade shows, and visit client facilities on a consistent timetable or schedule.
Identify opportunities for improvement processes in general working practices and team efficiency. Will work very closely with other members of the Sales Group. Give guidance and mentorship to staff to “lead by example” and provide support to various needs of personnel.

As a Lead Technical Writer, your mission is to partner with our Maritime Product and Operations teams to deliver accurate, updated, and easy-to-understand documentation on how to use Anduril products. You will do whatever it takes to organize our engineering and program delivery functions in this mission. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and various subject matter experts to understand our products, identify user workflows, and use documentation to close the gap. As such, the Technical Writer will play a foundational role in setting the bar for tone, voice, and quality across our written artifacts.
With Anduril’s focus on defense and national security, user documentation plays a critical role in ensuring front-line operators know how to leverage the “Arsenal of Democracy.” Your mission is to make the process of learning how to operate systems as easy and seamless as possible, with exceptionally written and presented artifacts.
You will identify relevant stakeholders and lead them through a documentation roadmap with established key milestones and targets. This will require an in-depth understanding of what teams are relevant to documentation, and what an organized effort toward collaboration, entails. You are to ensure that stakeholders are engaged at the right time, and you will guide them towards a finished user-facing document that plainly meets customer needs. For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
