Clinical Scientist, Clinical Sciences (Fixed-Term Contract)

We are currently in phase 3 for TRD, have completed phase 2 studies for both post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anorexia nervosa and are planning a further late-stage study in PTSD. Job overview:
The Clinical Scientist, Clinical Sciences will assist with the clinical development and scientific oversight of late stage clinical trials.
The role partners closely with Clinical Operations, Statistics, Data Management, Clinical Safety, Regulatory Sciences, and HEOR to deliver high-quality studies, enabling timely, compliant, and insight-driven decision making.
Location: Hybrid in our Soho London office or remote in the United Kingdom.
Reports to: Principal Clinical Scientist, Clinical Sciences.
Duration: Until the end of 2026.
Roles and responsibilities
(Include but are not limited to):
- Serve as the primary “point person” for assigned clinical research duties
- Support scientific oversight during study execution, supporting database design, medical monitoring, site initiation visits, protocol deviation review and clarification, and interpretation of clinical signals across programs
- Author and review participant-facing documents such as the informed consent form and advertisement material
- Support development of study conduct and statistical analysis plans; review data to ensure quality of study conduct and data collection
- Accountable for compliance with ethical and scientific standards, regulatory requirements, and the Compass Quality Management System, ensuring participant safety, data integrity, and accuracy throughout the trial process
- Contribute to cross-functional readiness for key milestones (database lock, regulatory documents), establishing operating rhythms and documentation standards consistent with Compass values and governance
- Champion patient-centric design, incorporating feasibility data, KOL feedback, and ethical considerations into procedures, visit schedules, and burden-reduction strategies
Candidate Profile:
- A PhD or PharmD is highly preferred but not required. MS candidates with equivalent experience also will be considered
- PhD or post-doctoral training should be in neuroscience, pharmacology, psychology, psychiatry, or other relevant biomedical science
- PharmD graduates should have training in research methods or postdoctoral research experience as above
- MS graduates should demonstrate scientific accomplishment comparable to that acquired in doctoral training as above
- Relevant experience in conducting and designing clinical research in neuroscience, pharmacology, psychiatry, or neurology
- Proven capability to translate biology and patient insights into clear study objectives, endpoints, and operationally feasible designs
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, experience authoring scientific documents, and well-developed communication skills appropriate to varying target audiences
- Excellent scientific writing, data interpretation, and communication skills, with a track record of high-quality clinical documents and timely milestone delivery

How This Role Makes a Difference
As a People & Talent Administrator at Care Access, you will play a dual role in supporting both recruitment and HR administrative functions across several international locations outside the US, including Poland, the UK, and other countries. Reporting to the Director, Global HRBP you will be instrumental in helping scale our growing team by identifying top talent and ensuring smooth HR operations. This is a dual focus role with responsibilities flexing between recruitment and people administration based on business needs, with a particular emphasis on supporting Poland and the UK.
How You'll Make An Impact
- People Administration Responsibilities:
- Support payroll consolidation processes in collaboration with external vendors.
- Manage local employment contracts, documentation, and HR records in line with GDPR and local regulations.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
- Support health and safety compliance efforts in line with local regulations.
- Track and manage employee absences and leave requests.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative support across HR processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure HR operations run smoothly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
- Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:
- Champion employer branding and ensure a strong candidate experience across OUS markets.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop selection criteria.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates to facilitate a positive candidate experience.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize recruitment metrics and data to evaluate and improve recruitment strategies and processes.
- Assist in other talent acquisition activities and special projects such as campus hiring, recruitment campaigns, or entry into new markets.
The Expertise Required
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of HR administration practices, especially in Poland and the UK.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and tracking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (Workday and Greenhouse preferred).

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in recruitment and/or HR administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- English & Polish language fluency is essential.
- Experience supporting international HR operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with local labour laws and HR practices in Poland and the UK is highly desirable.

Job overview:
The Senior Statistical Programmer will contribute expert programming skills to deliver accurate, regulatory-compliant clinical data outputs for Compass Pathways development programs. The role requires strong technical proficiency, collaboration across teams, and adaptability to support complex clinical trial requirements.
Location: United Kingdom home based or hybrid in our London Office.
Reports to: Associate Director, Statistics and Data Management.
Type: Fixed-term contract for 9 months.
Roles and Responsibilities
(Include but are not limited to):
- Leading and coordinating the programming activities within agreed timelines
- Managing the reporting of studies internally and externally
- Programming outputs as stated in the analysis plan
- Working closely with study team members, mainly with the study statistician
- Reviewing of the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) and shells
- Create and review SDTM and ADaM study specifications
- Ensure programs, datasets, outputs are appropriate for regulatory submission
- Perform simulations, data modelling and interim analyses
- Liaise with external vendors on deliverables
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive years experience in statistical programming
- CDISC expertise
- Proficient in programming including performing statistical analyses and creating macros in SAS, preferably R
- Programming/reporting expertise across all phases of clinical development (efficacy/safety/PK), including ISS/ISE reporting
- Experience in performing quality control (QC) checks
- Extensive knowledge in regulatory submission process
- Good understanding of ICH guidelines and regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11
- Experience supporting NDA submissions e.g., FDA, EMA, MHRA and addressing regulatory question
- Ability to solve challenging problems and provide recommendations to mitigate risk
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- Team work skills - Including cross-functional and within the Statistics and Data Management Team
