Payroll Service Design, Governance & Continuous Improvement is responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing the global payroll operational framework. The Opportunity:
Based in our Bangkok office, this accounting role will work across Agoda’s core operational entities, which mainly focus on accommodation and flight reservations. This role offers the opportunity to explore the accounting and finance of an online travel agency (OTA) with all the functions that drive OTA products. You will also have the chance to coordinate with other brands within Booking Holdings and gain exposure to international accounting and finance.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
Financial Accounts
Maintain accounting records including journal entries
Maintain and control over fixed assets register
Issue and control over invoices, tax invoices, receipts
Coordinate with intercompany related to month-end closing and confirmation
Correspond with external auditors for statutory financial report
Identifying and communicating issues to the Manager
Assist accounting manager on ad-hoc assignment
Reporting
Prepare financial closing, reporting packages, accounts reconciliation and analysis on the responsible areas
Prepare detail reports to support manager on the Quarterly Balance Sheet review with CFO
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
3-5 years’ experience in accounting field
Graduated Bachelor in Accountancy
Accounting standard knowledge (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP, and Local Accounting Standard)
Preparation of Statutory reports
Proficient ERP Software (Oracle is preferable)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Microsoft office packages (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent analytical/numerical skills – including strong attention to detail

Experience in preparing financial statements under US GAAP

Job Description:
Manage day-to-day activities of the company’s finance operations mainly related to Accounts Receivable and Revenue; ensuring all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
Manage the invoicing process, aging reports and tracking the overdue receivables working closely with the collections function
Reporting and optimizing the bad debt provisions process.
Troubleshoot daily operational issues and work closely with other stakeholders especially IT teams to come up with solutions.
Manage and implement Company’s initiatives and projects from finance and accounting perspective. This includes providing requirements, designing, and performing UAT, designing new workflow and monitoring post go-live processes.
Identify opportunities to drive processes improvement and automation.
Provide reports and analysis using finance operations data e.g. processing fees incurred data to support management decision making.
Coordinate with various units to ensure timely and accurate data is available for preparation of financial information for internal and external reporting.
Supervise day-to-day operations and month-end closing for related areas.
Maintain the internal control environment in the Company’s operations that are in compliant with corporate policies as well as SOX requirements etc.
Provides oversight, training, and coaching to department associates.
Address ad-hoc requests and issues.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or CPA qualification.
Around 8 years of working experience in finance operations (either accounts payable or accounts receivable functions), risk control or Finance functions with some experience at management level, including some managerial experience.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset
Strong ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
Strong ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with stakeholders and your own team.
Excellent leadership and team management skills

The Opportunity
The Pay-in Credit Risk & Collections (CRC) team department is a core pillar of the Finance organization, responsible for managing the complete revenue cycle — from order creation to final cash realization. The team ensures that every sale is accurately billed, collected, and accounted for, supporting the company’s liquidity, profitability, and customer experience objectives.
The team oversees end-to-end processes including billing & invoicing, payment mapping, credit management, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations. The department plays a critical role in maintaining financial discipline, optimizing working capital, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.
This team is expanding, and we are looking for the Head of Collections (Global Function) who will lead the end-to-end collections strategy and operations across multiple geographies based out of Bangkok, Thailand. The role oversees diverse collections processes spanning multiple product and process verticals, manage process optimizations, collections systems etc. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in global credit & collections, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to scale processes, systems, and teams in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

As Coordinator, Government Affairs you’ll play a key role in supporting the operational and strategic delivery of our team’s initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategic Engagement, you’ll help ensure our government-facing events and day-to-day operations run smoothly, enabling the team to work efficiently and make an impact.
*This role is 1-year contract, based in Bangkok
What You'll Do
Operational Support
Assist with routine tasks such as invoice processing, vendor documentation, document filing and meeting scheduling.
Maintain and update databases of government, industry and institutional contacts across key markets
Track team activities, maintain record and support reporting and planning.
Coordinate between internal teams (e.g Finance, Legal, Brand) to ensure smooth operations.
Event & Engagement Coordination
Support planning and logistics for government-facing events, including major sponsorships, official visits and other events.
Prepare materials, manage guest lists, coordinate with vendors and support on-site execution to a professional standard.
Handling practical arrangements such as venues, catering, travel, contracts and payments.
Team and Process Support
Help develop through coordination, briefing materials, presentations and responses to government requests, ensuring communications are all aligned.
Provide logistical support for internal meetings, trainings and team off-sites (e.g; agendas, notes, follow ups)
Document and help improve team processes, ensuring events and processes can be repeated and efficient as possible.
Required Qualifications:
Up to 2 years’ experience in coordination, administration, events, public affairs support, or similar roles (Preferred); internships or student leadership experience are welcome.
Strong organization and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Asian language(s) are a plus.
Comfort working with productivity and AI tools and willingness to learn basic tracking and database tools.
Professionalism, high integrity, reliability, and cultural sensitivity when supporting engagements with governments and senior stakeholders.
A proactive, “can-do” attitude, with readiness to handle hands-on operational and logistical tasks in a fast-paced, international environment.
