About the role:

You will be the primary architect of our global outsourcing strategy and be responsible for the end-to-end health of our outsourced ecosystems. This service covers multiple contact center, business process and configuration functions and works with multiple vendors across several countries. Responsibilities:

• Lead the ongoing analysis and cross-functional framework to determine which business functions are optimized for outsourcing versus internal retention.
• Design and execute an operating model that supports scalability, ongoing risk mitigation, and the execution of critical business initiatives across a matrixed organization.
• Drive core business transformation by identifying emerging marketplace trends and shifting the outsourcing model from transactional tasks to transformational outcomes.

• Partner closely with Procurement to identify and execute optimal Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) while monitoring value delivery and ROI.
• Negotiate matters of significance with senior management and external executives to ensure favorable commercial terms and operationally effective programs.
• Ensure the establishment and monitoring of rigorous Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on financial accuracy, productivity, and member experience.
• Perform ongoing operational governance by preparing consolidated performance reports that provide actionable insights and root-cause identification for issues.
• In partnership with finance, track ROI on outsourcing initiatives. Ensure meticulous billing analysis and the identification of opportunities for long-term cost savings.
• Set and enforce rigorous standards for all offshore and nearshore sites to ensure total adherence to HIPAA, CMS regulations, SOC2, and data privacy requirements.
• Partner with internal Audit, Security, and Compliance departments to lead the operational response to any vendor-side audits or data incidents.
• Lead the transition and change management of new work streams, including the creation of documentation, training protocols, and workflow design.
• Act as the primary bridge between internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and brand consistency.
• Create an attractive value proposition for vendor staff to minimize turnover, preserve institutional knowledge, and ensure external teams are educated on company priorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations or relevant field
• 10+ years in Insurance Operations
• 8+ years working with teams in multiple locations and within multiple disciplines
• 8+ years of coaching and developing leading cross-functional people and teams
• 6+ years of experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies
• 6+ years of experience leading large-scale implementations or expansion implementations across multiple site locations or business units
• 5+ years of experience in procurement processes, including negotiating and contracting BPO services
• 5+ years managing 3rd-party BPO/ITO relationships for major functions in insurance operations.
• Strong legal and commercial acumen with experience in multi-million dollar contract negotiations.

What you'll be working on:

You will be an expert on production team workflows and drive goals and KPIs for the team of support staff to meet our goals while providing coaching and leadership. You will partner with other teams to develop workflow improvements to enhance efficiencies for the team.

You will report into the Manager, Member and Provider Services.

Schedule: This position follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Central Time), with a rotating shift requirement shared among the Operations Team Leaders.

About the Role

We are seeking an In-House Counsel with 2–3 years of legal experience to join our growing tech services startup. As an early member of the legal team, you will gain broad exposure to commercial, operational, and corporate legal matters, and play a key role in helping the company scale responsibly in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop into a more senior in-house role over time, with meaningful ownership and impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including:

Basic Qualifications

You will partner closely across the organization to identify and manage inefficiencies proactively in the business. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for owning insights generation and follow-up for a major business unit, serving as the first point of contract for Sr. Managers and Associate Directors
• Analyze data to support business teams in making better informed, data-driven decisions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of technical work experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, around business reporting impact and requirements, as demonstrated by 5+ examples / projects of presenting analysis to Leadership (Director+)
• 3+ years experience in SQL, with the ability to filter, aggregate, and build CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python, including experience with Pandas, for loops, and statistical tests
• 3+ years experience developing dashboards and working with Looker, or other business intelligence/data visualization tools
• 3+ years experience, including proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel skills, with ability to use VLookup, nested if statements and connected Sheets
• 1+ years experience in healthcare, consulting, finance or the insurance industry

The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle liability / automobile accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs in Houston and surrounding areas in Texas. The lawyer's responsibilities will be focused on litigating cases, including trial prep and trial, but will not have to generally handle pre-suit matters. Our Medical Directors (MDs) are not only exceptional emergency veterinarians and criticalists. THE JOB

As a Sonographer, your focus is on ultrasound support for VEG hospitals and training facilities. This means working closely with our emergency doctors to provide same-day ultrasound scans for pets when they need it most. You’ll deal with a variety of patient types and scans, so being comfortable adapting to new scenarios and willing to learn new techniques and think outside the box are all part of your day-to-day. You’ll also assist in coordinating education opportunities and overall ultrasound training for your home and regional hospitals, inspire and motivate your fellow VEGgies to grow their ultrasound skills, and be ready to pitch in at the hospital whenever and wherever needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform ultrasound studies and facilitate ultrasound training at your home hospital and regional hospitals
• Maintain good relationships with and accept feedback from teleconsultation radiologists reading your studies (e.g., Antech, SonoPath, IDEXX, VetsChoice, etc.)
• Ensure all training content and activities are in alignment with VEG culture, mission, and vision, and represent accurate, up-to-date sonographic techniques
• Track doctor and nursing team skills with a VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist
• Engage in self-reflection and program evaluation practices to modify and enhance VEG’s ultrasound training programs
• Regularly meet with the medical directors, nursing trainer, and director of radiology education to discuss program development, training objectives, and additional needs
• Regularly meet with the hospital manager and medical director to discuss implementation of new training protocols, training schedules, hospital training needs, and team concerns
• Coordinate weekly schedule to work on the floor shifts with the hospital manager and medical director and devote time to training responsibilities
• May assist in developing ultrasound curriculum material, such as PowerPoints, videos, simulations, and assessments to be implemented across the doctor and nursing team training programs

THE JOB

As a Sonographer, your focus is on ultrasound support for VEG hospitals and training facilities. This means working closely with our emergency doctors to provide same-day ultrasound scans for pets when they need it most. You’ll deal with a variety of patient types and scans, so being comfortable adapting to new scenarios and willing to learn new techniques and think outside the box are all part of your day-to-day. You’ll also assist in coordinating education opportunities and overall ultrasound training for your home and regional hospitals, inspire and motivate your fellow VEGgies to grow their ultrasound skills, and be ready to pitch in at the hospital whenever and wherever needed.

THE PROGRAM

The VEG New ER Doctor (NERD) program is designed to transform practicing non-emergency veterinarians into exceptional, confident VEG ER doctors. This six-month deep dive into the action of emergency is a structured, immersive program like no other that allows participants to transition into full-time ER doctors at VEG after successful completion. Integrating academic and clinical teachings with individualized mentorship, this program fuels a passion for ER and creates a deeper meaning around life-saving veterinary heroics. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Responsibilities:

• Manage the annual and quarterly tax GAAP and Statutory tax provision processes and lead the related internal and external relationships necessary to support these processes.
• Review U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns and estimates for the corporate holding companies and insurance subsidiaries and manage our relationship with external consultants on this work.
