As Senior Counsel, you will join an experienced and collaborative Legal team to work on market and derivative related transaction matters. You’ll work alongside and report into our Head of Trading Legal and have the opportunity to work on a myriad of legal issues with room for growth beyond the current scope of the role. The ideal hire should have minimum of 4 years’ experience at a financial institution with additional experience at a top-tier law firm. 

What You’ll Do:

• Act as a strategic legal advisor for Galaxy with respect to ISDAs/ CSAs, confirms, prime brokerage agreements, lending and vendor transactions;
• Advisor on swap dealer related rules
• Focus on negotiating documentation with hedge funds, crypto native firms, investment companies, individuals, miners and other institutional clients

What We’re Looking For:

Who You Are:

The Compliance Associate/VP will be responsible for day-to-day compliance functions relating to our investment advisory business. The individual must have knowledge of the Investment Advisers Acts and experience with compliance responsibilities of SEC-registered investment advisers (“RIAs) in the retail and institutional space.
