Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Software Engineer who will develop pipeline development to support a range of government programs in a secure environment. This role focuses on designing, building, software systems and optimizing data pipelines that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and mission-critical decision support.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop signal processing software components using Java, and Python
- Define and implement data formatting and interface specifications
- Design, develop and implement algorithms for specialized automated processes and interfaces with databases
- Develop scripts to support remote deployment, troubleshooting and system maintenance activities
- Document software release descriptions and remote deployment procedures
Here's what you need:
- 3 years of experience in software engineering
- Experience with Java and Python scripting
- Experience with database programming such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Alchemy
- Experience with any software tools/frameworks such as, but not limited to:Git, Visual Code, Maven, Nexus, etc..
Bonus points if you have:
- Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data engineering, data science or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting federal programs
- Familiarity with data lake and data warehouse technologies such as: Snowflake, Redshift, and/or BigQuery
- Knowledge of machine learning model deployment and MLOps practices
Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI federal security clearance is required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Shift4 is expanding globally and we are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with a Business Intelligence focus to join our Information Technology Group. In this role, you will gather and translate business requirements into actionable insights, ensuring the effective flow of information and data across the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define, validate, and deliver business intelligence (BI) solutions, leveraging strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and communication abilities to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into clearly defined, documented requirements for bugs, enhancements, and system developments.
- Create and maintain deliverables including vision/scope documents, requirements, mockups, designs, and flow diagrams.
- Manage stakeholder requests using established SDLC practices to maintain accountability and traceability.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders to validate that deliverables meet requirements and customer needs.
- Provide support in creating and tracking project deliverables and work items in the ticket tracking system.
- Contribute to and enforce the adoption of Business Intelligence solutions across teams.
- Support the development of key metrics and shared goals to measure success.
- Ensure BI governance, data accuracy, and effective communication of insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis of data movement and business intelligence reports.
- Advanced experience with requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, and solution documentation.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau and ETL tools.
- Experience with data sources including AWS Redshift, Postgres, SQL Server, Amazon Athena, Excel, and flat files.
- Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience working with large datasets, Enterprise Data Warehouses, and Dimensional Databases.
- Advanced understanding of SDLC processes and experience with Agile frameworks (KANBAN, Scrum).
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication skills (English) and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Certifications in Agile Scrum or PMP are a plus to have.

- Familiarity with security operations concepts and threat visibility tooling

- Background in database operations and reliability for relational databases beyond day-to-day administration
- Practical experience operating and maintaining PostgreSQL databases in production
