Our platform and our team
Our platform uses a mix of Open Source and commercial off-the-shelf software and targets a large on-premise bare-metal footprint using cloud-native constructs. The environment offers a secure-by-default configuration, implementing a GitOps-first approach, in-depth network micro-segmentation and governance policies. We follow a mostly Kanban workflow and adhere to devops and GitOps principles. We value fast iteration and a customer-oriented approach while being mindful about security. The team has strong expertise in Kubernetes, networking and operating an internal cloud but also has experience with application development. The team is geographically diverse, with presence in both Switzerland and the US.

o Coordinate/delegate and manage internal tasks with the associated internal departments (infrastructure, network, CAB, etc.)
o Document and maintain the customers implementations for further references and updates.
o Participate in the full automation of all implementations across all production related environments; be part of the stakeholders to shape the future implementation tools.
o Assist the customer during UAT test phase, assist other teams in troubleshooting an issue in staging and during hyper-care period in Production
· Configuration control
o Implement configuration control checks to ensure projects adhere to guidelines and consistency between production related environments is maintained.

Picarro is looking for a customer-facing Field Application (FAE)/Technical support Engineer (TSE) to become a key member of our Energy Team and contribute to the development in Europe, especially Italy.
