ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will have a design/technical focus and be a member of our multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with design and technical leadership and will be an integral part of project teams. Your initial assignment will be on a 2.0+ million square foot healthcare facility at Mayo Clinic’s campus.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Independently and under limited direction, contribute as part of a multi-disciplinary team; design, selection, coordination and architectural detailing.
- Prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts utilizing Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and other programs as required.
- Independently develop and manage the REVIT model to produce plans, elevations, and sections. With limited direction, produce REVIT section and plan details within all architectural phases.
- Prepare preliminary design sketches of small to moderate-sized site plans.
- Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
- Assist in the development of design and concept drawings.
- Assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers.
- May take on a leadership role within the team on a particular project issue or topic.
- Review shop drawing submittals with some guidance from the Project Architect.
- May attend field site inspections, which frequently involves a physical walk-through of the site.
- Attend and actively participate in project team meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required.
- Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
- Must be able to participate the development of projects' technical or design characteristics and content.
- Strong creative design portfolio is essential as are strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Professional business attire is required for all client meetings. Examples of professional business attire include suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses, and skirts.
- Travel required.
The salary range for this position is $62,395 to $78,618 annually. This is the anticipated salary range at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on candidate's geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. This entry-level position will have a design/technical focus and be a member of our multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with design and technical leadership and will be an integral part of project teams. Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Architect and project leadership the primary responsibilities will include the following:
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Under direct supervision of the Project Architect or Project Designer, contribute to the design process by utilizing various software platforms such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-up.
- Build physical building models.
- Produce architectural documentation under supervisory direction.
- Produce graphics materials and images for client presentations under supervisory direction.
- Assist in product research under direct supervision of Project Architect or Project Manager.
- Assist with research of building code information as directed by Project Architect.
- Participate in the review of shop drawings and submittals under supervisory direction.
- Attend in-house project team meetings.
- May visit job site to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Site visits frequently require a physical walk through of the site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required by hire date. Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program preferred.
- Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
- Must have strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Proficiency with Revit and Enscape preferred. Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.

Job Overview
Deliver dynamic interactive presentations to support National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) analysis.
Essential Functions
- Provide dynamic interactive presentations to support NGA geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) analysis.
- Use graphics and programming to display NGA information in interactive flash, Apple IOS, and/or other industry standard formats.
- Design, produce, and finish interactive (versus static) presentation products.
- Use interactive authoring, illustration, image editing, graphic design, scanning, digital video, and/or animation software to integrate graphics with text and audio.
- Master CD ROMS/DVDs, import/export/archive data, electronically publish, enhance images, and operate scanners.
- Coordinate final products and disseminate finished products as required. Production and dissemination is primarily in softcopy. All work shall be tracked and completed within established timelines.
- Use a variety of software suites, formats and databases to accomplish the mission.
- Attend periodic production support meetings and stay current with ongoing production support initiatives.
- Ensure quality of finished GEOINT products in accordance with NGA policy and standards.
- Archive and disseminate products following established guidelines.
- Ensure documents are appropriately classified.
- Resolve work-related technical problems.
- Participate in meetings with government customers, team members, Contractors, etc. to exchange information, partake in decisions, and/or provide updates.
- Support the office and other branches in accomplishing the overall mission, including expedite crisis work, special assignments, and ad hoc tasking on varied scheduled arrangements.
- Organize personal work schedule to facilitate task completion and maximize use of time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated proficiency with the following applications: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook. Working knowledge of Worldwide Web and multimedia technologies.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Education / Certifications
- Bachelors Degree in Journalism, English, or other related field.
Experience
- At least three years of professional editing experience with a degree
- At least five years of professional editing experience without the specified degree.
